thanks joe for the kind words and for looking at steel for your breeding. we made 2 drops tonight raining like crazy and heavy wind treed one on the outside and made a den by then we were soaked plum thru i strongly believe he will be a contender this yr in the hunts..and i truley belive he will produce in the stud pen!

Steel is in the top 16 in South carolina For AKC he is qualified for the Akc world this year we will be going to carrol OH for the zones in march!

he don't look back or take time to piss around, he will get gone
i don't think there are but 3 pups left out of Steel's first litter, two are doing just fine treeing coon , i don't know who has the 3rd one.
don't take my word for it go hunt with Steel.
i have people down here wanting pups.

Guy's Give Steel a try. i know there are some nice studs out there. but i believe he will reproduce just as good as any.

What can you tell me about the nose on steel? Is he a drift style track dog or straight line driver? I'm located in Union City, not too far. How old is steel? How did he act as a young dog, as far as starting and brains go? How accurate is he? Dow she ever slick tree?

I know nobody likes to talk about bad things but if you could what would you change with steel? What are his weaknesses? (I only ask because these are necessary questions to make a good cross.)

Steel can drive a track. opens good. no babble. he hunts hard. sometime straight line. when you cut him hes gone wide open. good tree dog.
Dont know how he was as young pup starting out. just bought him last sept. he is 3. . and yes he has slick treed and will probably do it a gain. most do. he will tree you some coons to. he has the drive and a big hesrt that loves to hunt.we have a pup here doing real good for a 11 months old. .
hope this helps. go hunt with him. Dave will be glad to show him in woods.

Steel is i good track dog he takes them as they come hot or cold he moves them with no problem. he is not a straight line hunter he is looking for a coon as soon as u unsnap him. you are welcome to hunt with him whenever u want! i can even come to you or u can come here we have some nasty weather coming in tomorow but when it clears out we can go and you can see what you like and dislike about him.
