Heres a pup out of sams 1st litter. SamXRose. This was his 1st nite in the woods at 6 months old and by himself. went hunting got struck got treed and had coon. BIG mouth. Still very young and never know how there gona finish but were very excited about him.Dont mean to hijak the thread, just thought i would share a bit on his pups.

Thanks again guys for the nice words. You are always welcome to come hunt with Sam. I love to show him. Sam is a pleasure for me to hunt.
It has been my pleasure to have met and get to know all of you.
I have ben blessed to have had several good hounds in my lifetime and SAM is one of the best I have had. He is an exceptionally fast track dog, gets treed, stays put, and most of the time has the coon. He is not perfect but neither are we. He sure tries to be though.
He has two litters on the gound, the oldest being 7 months which both are out of my females and from what I hear he might be a good reproducer. Time will tell. I know I have one here that is one of the hardest tree dogs at 7 months of age that I have seen.
I will be running an ad in the future on Sam. Come watch him go, the leaves are off.

Luke, your pup sure favors Sam. Glad he is pleasing you.

If I can get 1/2 what Sam is and 1/2 of what Rhiannon is look out it will be the best I have had. Mr Hubbard Has some very nice hounds Sam I like to handle him I know each time I let him go he can win!!! And I don't own one hair on him!!!

I once told Bill that it seems the only time I beat him is who gets home first. Bill always has to stick around to get his win slip and I didn't !
