After a few months I thought it was a pretty good piece of equipment. I updated a few times over the years. Last spring she brought home one of those fancy phones about three times larger than the little phone I had. I told her to take it back because I couldn't carry it in my pocket. I ageed to try it for 30 days. I hated it for a couple weeks but wouldn't do without it today. Change often starts out bad but after a bit change may be good. Give the new system a chance.
I felt the same way about my apple eye phone when I upgraded. But would not do without it now. I check the Forum anytime night or day where ever I'am at right here on my phone. Never get on the home computer any more. Life sure has changed with this phone.

Change

I find out that the older I get the less I like it. I had better change that if I'm going to keep up with things. Change is not always bad. Inam starting to get used to the new forum.

I like the new set up better. Too me it is a lot more organized, but I like Chris' suggestion even more. That really makes sense to me.

Not giving you guys a hard time. You know that you're my favorite breed of coonhound right? Well.....partly because you have a golf outing in conjunction with your breed hunt.

Todd, I didn't like it and it appeared that the postings are down. If we are the only breed that does not like it that probably means I am in the vast minority. As always you guys do a first class job. I will get used to it.

forums

I am thinking about just opening the ukc web site on different tabs so i can just switch from one to the other that way so i do not have to do all that clicking back and forth. Now when they have a pup for sale and say look at so an so stud ad i can just click on tab and not do all that going back and forth.

I just suscribed to the forums that I usually view. Then I hit the user cp button and then go to the forum I want to view.

The only group voicing their displeasure are the bluetickers. lol I'm happy that after our initial effort to move things around people are being pretty darn good about posting in the correct forum. It hasn't been as painful for us moderators as I thought it would be.

And with all due respect, I can see MycroBlue's point. The people who I would expect to like this format the least are the stud dog promoters. They kind of had a captive audience with the one forum set up. But there is no way that was fair to the average Joe that had a dog or pups for sale. Some of the stud dog threads are basically buddy chat rooms and bump a typical classified to page 3 in a hurry. I don't have a problem with that....let's just put it somewhere else.

I mean it's really not that hard is it? Do you wish to discuss something with others in your breed? Are you looking for a pup? Are you looking for a male to breed to? And if you want to check them all, it's a couple mouse clicks away? So really, do the mouse clicks require too much effort or or eat up too much valuable time? lol

It's a lot of pages when you try to keep up with a few different breeds
