I have a male pup outta high x-pectations and a cord female that started Treeing on his own at six months old. He turned 8 months old yesterday and he's still Treeing. Just messed up twice but that was a possum. That's better than slick.

I have a 2 year old nt ch female out of Dohoneys Dizzy that started at 3months with old dogs than at 4 months i was hunting her solo she was treeing. I plain on breading her to Trackman. So to answer your question i would go with Dizzy or Trackman

daniel wilson has a nice young male track dog deluxe out of grntch skuna river bear one of the best young dogs ive seen when he trees he has a coon and loves to be alone not man made natural loner

Harry Bawls & Skuna River Bear

I know Bawls is throwing some nice ones & I'd really like to try one out of Daniels Bear dog & a nice coondog female. There just aren't many Skuna River bred dogs around me, but if I were going to purchase one it would more than likely be from Daniel as I think he has the kind I need here in the Ky. hills. If everything goes right I'll be hunting one off of Harry Bawls & a female that I know well that is as pure & naturally born coondog & night in night out young dog as I've ever turned loose & she done her part when it came to reproducing on the 2 studs she's been crossed on. There are several nice stud out there for sure, but these 2 are the ones I'm really interested in. Other than direct Harry studs I like Daniels dog better than anything I know of right now for my use.

I got a 14 mth old male out of sidewinder who is off harry semen and was crossed back to a daughterof sidewinder who gets in there and gets it done when he gets treed he will have the meat!

My 18 month old bear pup has really progressed this season. Big mouth big wheels big locate. Had some accuracy and trash issues at first. But is turning out to be one of the nicest young dogs iv ever raised. He is a littermate to Daniels Mac dog.

My Mac dog and my 7.5 month old faith female off Bear did good this year. Season was real rough this year. It was bone dry in the fall and the weather turned cold early; to top it off coon population was way down with the drought we had over the summer.

one thing i do know is i started the season with a 5.5-6 month old little female off Bear X Crankin Good Time (littermate to roadtrip, tank and hillbilly deluxe. The weather was pitiful and she treed 15 singles, 5 dens , 2 slicks, 1 possum and burnt 1 deer and ran it right!! This was all ALONE! dont believe me , come see it for yourself. was treeing coon with her cold and frosty ground. had to have a track to get treed everytime and is a classy little treedog

I also have the Mac dog that is a littermate to Justins , SKuna River Last Resort. He doesnt have near the hunt experience that justins dog has. But is absolutely an impressive track dog that can trail up just about any kind of coon. Big locate and very accurate. Justins Resort dog ( STU) is more my type. Deep through the world with a coon type. Mac is more trailing type.

a buddy of mine also has a youngun i seen go off just call me snap. Although ive never cared for the dogs directly off trackman i do like this pup. same age as my Faith pup and treed a handful of coons and is a hard hunting pup for her age that is very action packed and going to make something happen.

also seen a couple pups off Mud Run Milo go ; one of them i actually hunt with pretty often. good mouth, good looking pups that treed some coons when i was with them

I hunted a good one out of Hardwood Patch semen this past winter. He was treeing with the other dogs at five months and treeing his own by the time he turned seven months old.

Have had a few that started very easy and young off mr jack, had one off midnight monster that started young and has some talent at treeing coon. Have tried about a dozen of bigger name stud dog pups and haven't had much luck. Prolly has more to do with the trainer.
