Storm

Its been raining here in Jackson County, Wv since yesterday morning.... All news outlets are expecting 2 to 4 inches of rain and strong winds. I am hoping its just a bunch of hype but the way things are looking its gonna be bad

Stay safe buddy.I think we pretty much dodged a bullet here.Mainly cuz the storm stayed so far offshore.Still got a lotta flood damage,but I think it woulda been worse if it had come ashore here.Got about 5.5-6 in of rain so far.And it's still comin' down.Wind isn't as bad as yesterday either.Stay safe up in them mountains & hollers.I heard on the news yesterday that y'all could git as much as 50" of snow.Donna's aunt & uncle were here visitin cuz her Dad is in the hospital.Not doin well at all.I think he's dyin'.They left yesterday to go back to Mullins cuz of the fore cast.Stay safe buddy.

It was on TV a short while ago Atlantic City was flooded under by the storm surge and high tide combined .

only gonna get worse from the sounds of it on the weather channel i supposed to go try a dog on friday night up in pa but looks like it might not happen with all this bad rain and wind this storm really sucks

They are sending everybody home at 3. Courthouse already closed tomorrow. Going home and fill the two plastic 55 gallon containers with water. Get the ole Coleman stove and Sterno out and have the family hunker down. I'll be out in it with emergency crews. Probably haven't seen this since that typhon blew through Okinawa in '74.

The Storm

Went down to the oceanfront today just to get an idea how bad it is like I always do when a hurricane is near.Lemme tell ya,in my 55 yrs. on this Earth,I've never seen the Atlantic Ocean near this angry.We,around here for the most part,have dodged a bullet.I'm really concerned with our neighbors to the North.This one is no joke.Please take it seriously.My prayers are with y'all.

man this storm sure did alot of damage we lucked out on the snow in my area of wv was supposed to be all rain but about 2 this moroning we started getting rain and snow theres about 1 inch on the grass but parts of wv and va got pounded god bless y'all that got all that devastating damage
