In certain jurisdictions the club could be held liable for the actions occurred on their grounds. Might not hurt to atleast talk to an attorney.
As much as it pains me to say it getting the law involve will just hurt the sport in the future. All we need is some goober to get wind of it and say" why in the heck do people have dogs chasing raccoons?" and contacting PETA is the worse advice in the thread. I'd just speak to a lawyer and get this joker in his back pocket.
Not too familiar with clubs. Here they are called leases. The land owner(s) sign a contract with Tenat in order to hunt. Ultimately the land owner is responsible for actions of tenant. The land owner(s) needs a form letter from the attys office too. He will help you any way he can in the investigation because he want nothing to do with this I promise you. He can provide names and addresses for the tenants where as the law enforcement will not give you. Even ask pointed questions to land owner... Have you had a problems this before. Who was the person(s) involved etc...

Kody... I didn't knock your opinion but let's put this into perspective. When is the last time you ever heard of PETA backing a Hunting dog? The key word here is HUNTING. They don't like that word asscociated with anything.
hey
I am not mad this was a hunting dog obviously wasn hunting at the time only things i know on this deal is experience i have had and i know for a fact that if he dont know shooter or why or anything law enforcement will not push the issue at all u have to put in all your leg work i was just really just meaning try at all cost to nut this person so its know that its not ok because to me and i am sure will all of u these are not just dogs to us might as well be my child and if u mess with them u just pissed on the tree of death. know what i am gettin at? I personally had a yard dog shot by my neighbor right in the middle of a gravel road in front of my house no ryhme or reason police basically shrugged it off
