"USE'TA"

Have to hunt two hours by yourself in the late round not just tree a coon. Dogs that run up big scores in the pack sometimes couldn't get it done alone & some would get scratched for not huntin a stretch during those two hours.

Russ,

You only have to come away with plus points. If it takes 6 min. and you tree a coon and come away with plus points you are done and moving on to the next round. You have 2 hrs to get plus points without minusing out or being scratched, but you do not have to hunt the entire 2 hrs.

Matt,I'm aware of that now. Was just sayin in '88 & years prior along with some after you had'ta hunt a full two hours alone. Gettin plus points & hangin on to them was a challenge for some. Not sure what year they went to just treein a coon & stoppin ??

AHHH!!! I now see the "USE'TA" sorry!

I believe they went away from this for the host clubs. If you have ever hosted the world hunt, it is pretty tough on the guides/judges. I believe the only reason they want them to hunt alone is to make sure they can tree a coon on their own, and get plus points on their own, therefore 2 hrs wouldn't have to be used? JMO
