Ran the dogs last night the young walker struck and killed a possum on the ground then later she hooked up with the old walker and treed in a den tree along with streak as well the young pup rebel was interested but he did not stay under my feet or around us he went out with the bigger dogs for the first time out we was in the woods and back out in about 25 min felt like its going to be a good year for these hounds

hey. im across the line in nc. your season starts a month earlier than ours but if i can play too, nobody can beat me on possums lol. she loves em!

lmao sure man u can join in with us and as far as with the possums idk if any dogs can get as bad as my walkers on that subject and i hate it but as long im out of the house i could careless what my dogs run they are all young except one of them

thanks alot lol. save some for me. I would like to get over your way and do some huntin sometime too. I have hunted greenville, parrotsville, and newport. Loved it. Hunted with a man in elizabethton once. it was like here. steep. but we treed coons.. Good luck in the woods partner

thats where im at, in elizabethton, most places around here are steep, thats for sure. towards over in jonesborough and greeneville is good hunting, mostly rolling hills....

your welcome bud I have hunted in Parrotsville before loved it used to have land all over in Greenville but no longer have it due to it all being sold out now the land i hunt here in Jonesborough is starting to get sold bad luck on my end the best woods to hunt are within walking distance and well they are for sale so that means no more hunting in there for me as of right now im down to 1 spot possibly 2 \\

Also Guys Little Creek Coon Club at Washington College is holding a Benefit Hunt Sept I am wanting to say i seen it for the 15th It was posted at Mountain View Restaurant Off Of Hwy 11E In Limestone Tn.

I went again tonight for the second time since last season tonight was the worst hunting trip i do believe i have ever went on turned 3 dogs loose all three went in different directions my 2 walkers ended up together and treed on a spring now streak earned his name going over a mile on gps while trying to get the 2 walkers out of the thick witch took forever he came off of it and went further by that time i started calling him he turned around got within 145 yds and tried to tree but he wouldnt open up so we got him and came home a place that normally takes 30min to a hour to hunt turned into a 3 hour hunt the walkers had a little possum up i might add

We start r club hunts when season opens on the 21st. my pot lickers aint been hunted alot this summer .still 80 at night no water in woods .hopeful fall is around the corner Good luck to all OLD BEN

Finally caught a coon to turn loose for my pup. It was raining but that didn't stop us from going. We turned the coon loose in the middle of a cut corn field and let him get good and gone and went back and turned four young dogs loose and they all ran back to the truck where the cage was. Lol I lead my dog out to where we turned the coon loose and let her smell the track. She worked the track and put him up a tree. I am very excited for this season.

just in case we keep this one going daisy out done the older dogs last night bringing in all four trees in a hour with coons up left some in the woods as well forgot the camera so had to take the pic of them when we got home.
