SHEEP,IVE GOT A DOG HERE THAT WENT TO MICKY'S PLACE.(ACTION PACKED KENNELS). SHE WAS LIKE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT DOG WHEN HE GOT HER BACK AND I AM NOW USEING HER TO TRAIN MY PUPS. YOU WONT GO WRONG BY SENDING YOUR PUP THERE.I CAN PUT YOU ON SOME COON WHILE YOU ARE DOWN THIS WAY,ITS ONLY ABOUT 20 MIN. FROM HERE.

Goatster?

What is the difference in sending a pup to a training pen and using feeder buckets as a training aid?

I've heard you bash people who use them to train pups now your going to train your dog with pet coon? Ha Ha Ha.

Posted by chopper5 on 12-30-2005 02:06 AM:

IF I REMEMBER,

I THINK THAT HE AND OL JV WERE ORIGINALLY TALKING ABOUT HUNTING OVER BUCKETS AND COMP HUNTING THEM. I ALSO THINK THAT BOTH AGREED THAT BUCKETS WERE OK FOR TRAINING PUPS,BUT I MAY BE WRONG.

My training method. Go hunting with dogs, LOOK for real live coons in trees and make sure feeder buckets are not involved. Try to get a puppy or started dog out of the above mentioned dogs that SHOWED coons. Take dog hunting. Have fun. Dont sweat the small stuff. Keep it real. I have a job where I average 42 hours a week. Thats how I pay my bills. Coonhunting for me is just a hobby. Thats it.

What do you think the coons in his pen eat out of?

Posted by chopper5 on 12-30-2005 02:27 AM:

YOU MAY HAVE A POINT,LOL

Posted by sheepster on 12-30-2005 02:29 AM:

Hipsnot, remember the thing I said about the training wheels???? Its ok for a 6 year old. But a 16 year old should not need training wheels. Just my opinion.

By the way hipsnot, go read the title of this thread. Could it be your on the wrong thread??????

I don't want to talk about someone's livelyhood, but I've drawn out with dogs that had been sent to actionpac kennels. I was not impressed at all.

I think a lot of that may have to do with how they were trained and hunted after they got back from his training fascility. Just my opinion though.

Posted by GA DAWG on 12-31-2005 08:31 PM:

You got that right sheep.Look under his action pac add in this months books. That would be my pup under pup of the month. He came back treeing coons!Hes just a pup and anything can still happen. As of now I am tickeled with him.Plus Micky can do more in 2 weeks than I could do in 4mths with our coon population.

Posted by sheepster on 12-31-2005 08:46 PM:

Your exactly right.
