my contention is if you know that dogs are dying form eating this food and you still feed it, then you are taking a chance with your dogs life. i dont personally feed it but i had a friend who lost a dog overnight a couple of months back. could have been the feed but he just buried him. he did not try to find the problem. but you bet your bottom dollar if i knew one dog was lost to bad food, i would not feed another that brand. just common sense.

Dogwood, if you really mean that then you should stop feeding the brand you are feeding cause all commercial feed brands have had this happen to them, yours included.

It doesn't matter what brand it is, they have all had this to happen. It happens in horse, goat, and all other livestock feed as well. Fungus don't care what brand name is on the sack, that's why every major brand of dogfood has had it to happen to them as well (unless they are new or something).

Not trying to be a smart aleck, just pointing out that you can't switch to a brand that hasn't had it happen cause it doesn't exist. We all love our dogs, but emotion can sometimes make us make decisions that are not based on sound logic.

My dogs all started losing weight and looking very bad over just a few days. I have since switched to Purina One. I will gladly pay the extra money now. I have been a Dimaond guy for a couple of years now, and was always satisfied. My brother called TSC, which is where he buys his and informed them of the ordeal, they blew him off. Needless to say, TSC isn't on my places to go for supplies anymore. Anyhow, I am now feeding the Purina One, and am satisfied. I think the price difference is about $8 a bag, and it is a smaller bag, only 37 pounds to diamonds 50. I am saving the points circles, so that should help. Hope everyone is getting along better, and I am sorry for all of those who lost hounds to this.
