I get up get the kid up fix breakfast, start clothes, then get ready for work. Go to work 7 to 4 come home do clothes, dishes all the house work. Unless I fuss enough to get help. Then ride horses, feed, help clean kennels or anything else. Or half the time I run errands after work and then do those things. Then husband thinks I need to go to the woods with him. And he wonders why I'm tired. HHMMM

Boring job & internet access at work = message boards

Posted by Christy on 10-30-2003 11:06 PM:

OH lordy...

Here goes...

Get up, fix breakfast and get the hubby off to work, come back, start clothes, do dishes, figure bills, when Cheyenne wakes up we play, there's breakfast for her, we play, not to long after that we play, it's clothes folding time, we play, then it's time for lunch, then we play, we play, then it's time for snack, then Cheyenne gets a bath, my soaps come on at 1, so I watch them. At 3 I go do any errands I might have for that day, between 4:30 and 5:30 go pick up the hubby and head to mom and dads to take care of the 4 legged family. Mom and I usually watch Cheyenne and cook supper while dad and Quincy do all the doggy poo stuff. then we eat supper, clean up the dishes, give Cheyenne another bath, play for a while, then, finally, we get to go turn the dogs lose.

Dont that sound like fun!!

Just because we're stay at home moms, dont mean that we dont work! Just think, you guys are getting PAID for what you do!!!

Posted by Cynthia on 10-30-2003 11:46 PM:

I'm usually logged on at work. Go to class and/or clinicals 5 days a week. Work 30 hrs to keep insurance (including Sat/Sun). I am only income, so have to do all house work/bills myself. And have 3 babies to take care of (4-legged). Not to mention homework and an internet class (which I'm paying for out of my pocket) and has been known to keep me up til 2am then up at 5am to go to clinicals. I may not have the kids, but I have a pretty good plate as well.

Work?

My union had an early retirement option and I took it. I limited out on squirrels yesterday with my Mt Cur female and I caught a 9#, 5#, and 2# channel catfish this morning and ran my beagles to get the ready for an upcoming beagle hunt this afternnon. I find time to coonhunt often but it is too windy tonite. Frances Gail and I spend alot of time raising our puppies.

I'm a pastor, so I am home a good bit, when I am not doing all the things I do for the church.

I also do a good bit of speaking engagements around the country and in Canada, so I put in some travel time.

Work ????????????

Ya, I work a little. Up at 4:00am work till I get done there, then I pick up the kids cause the ole lady usually has night meetings 3 or 4 times a week. Do soccer and dance, come home cook dinner, give baths and put them to bed. After playtime of course! Then I do the chores around the house take care of the outside chores wait on Ma to get home, then if there is anytime left, I run the dogs, if not I get to bed around 11:00 and start all over again. I think I'm in a rut here? I might make someone a good wife someday! lol All 6'1 1/2" - 250 lbs of me!

EnglishBabe and CHristy......

I'm with you. I have a two week old; 2 year old and a six year old. I am on the clock 24/7. When my husband is coming in from hunting I am up giving a bottle to a new baby and that is at about 3:30 am. So you can say I am the CEO of our family and that is my job. My husband works 8 days on and 7 days off for the railroad. I really like being a stay at home mom and being here for the girls. As for the dogs their a full time job too. Never a dull moment in this house. I also have stepdaughters here every other weekend.....so... total girls in our house not counting me 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!
