I handle the Hall of Fame for the American Redbone Coonhound Assn now and I have Theresa's old records from the Hall of Fame for years and years back. I have even found pix of the old reds with the white ring around the neck- etc.

If there is any dog in particular that you would like to see that I might be able to dig up in these old records- I would be happy to scan them. Just let me know & I'll start digging.

He produced 816 puppies
He had 8 GRNITECH, 18 NITECH, 10 GRCH, 22 CHs, 1 FCH and 1 WCH. He was out of Goodaker Pun Jab & NITECH Spurs Red Fanny. His most notable win was Reserve Champion of ACHA World Hunt, Van Wert, OH in 1975.

If someone can help with posting pics let me know and I'll email you a couple of OW and a few of his big game reds.
Several years ago, OW sent us a big packet of pictures - including two of his original reds, Sue & Duke in 1948. I scanned all the pictures he sent before returning the package to him.

Let's keep this thread going - it's nice for us newcomers to see what's behind the reds that we have today - and a great way for us to learn the history - and see pics of what's behind our bloodlines!

According to her nomination sheet: Jessie was a wide hunter, quick locator, hard accurate treedog. She was a squal/chop on track and a chop on tree. No doubt one of our breeds most influential redbone females of all time.

Here's two of OW's dogs treed on a bear-- Little Girl and Bandit

And finally- here are OW's very first redbones Sue & Duke. This picture was taken in 1948.

Here's some Ace for you-- I will dig alittle deeper when I get home & get some Little Man. These and the rest of the pix I have are pretty much Black N White- as long as you don't mind B&W- I can dig out most of the oldies-- think I might even have Midnight Flyer.

have sure brought back some memories. i hunted with both woodpecker and woodpecker II at the acha world. and woodpecker II at brooks magill..summer 1980. i enjoyed reading dorman clouse's articles in full cry. any photos of his redbones...jet or talker? i remember when elburn's won autumn oak..boy! that was a great win!! beautiful hound. i remember timber jack..when he won rqe in minn..'89. he was a beautiful redbone! thank you for sharing.....enjoyed it alot!
