Lapeer YES, it's been a month since I've been in the show ring. Can't wait for this week to go by..... it's taking forever. As for Bellvue our club is having a buddy hunt that night but were going to try and make both events. See everybody Sunday at Lapeer.

what do they have going on just a show.im just getting back into hunting.ive got a year old cur female out of butch cargills barney dog.and a five month old blue pup.that is doing pretty good for so young.hunted last night it was like somebody flipped the on switch.with my cur.i think she is finally gonna get it right.she absolutely hates ol ringtail.

NEW CLUB ?

AFTER THE MEETING IN LAPEER YESTERDAY THERE HAS BEEN A REBIRTH IN REVIVING THE OLD HADLEY HILLS COON HUNTER'S CLUB. WE MAY BE ABLE TO USE A FACILTY JUST NORTH OF DAVISON . WE HAVE SAW SOME INTEREST IN THE PAST AND I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN KNOWING IF ANYONE ELSE THAT READS THIS BOARD WOULD BE INTERESTED IN JOINING ? WE WOULD WELCOME IN YOUNG MEMBERS AND THOSE JUST WISHING TO LEARN THE ASPECTS OF OUR SPORT OF COON HUNTING AND COON HOUNDS . WE WOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO HAVE FIELD TRIALS , BENCH SHOWS AND NIGHT HUNTS BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY WE WOULD TRY TO HAVE A FRIENDLY PLACE FOR ENJOYING OUR PASTIME ! ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE HELPFUL .... What the hell happened to fall!? This sucks. SAdly I haven't had the hounds out at all this week. And to top it all off I hit a deer with my truck! Egaaaaaads. I want this cold wind to pass.

We picked up a sweet little blue girl on Sat. She is about 11 weeks, and what an awesome temperament. Thanks to Mackie Creek, BTW.

She is very nice looking also-but we are new to the breed so I am going on faith a a little knowledge!

My husband plans to get her out hunting, so I suppose it time we made some connections-we have a lot to learn!!! We are in Shelby Twp, which is NE of Detroit. Anyone in our area? Also, where is a good place near us to start-and when? I suppose just getting her out running would be great.

so does anybody know if the club is going to move forward or close the doors.sounds like there is alot of strife going on there.thanks im personally going to join the millington club.

I would sure like to see a new club open in Davison. What happened at Lapeer or can't anyone say. Triker, you might be in for a surprise at Millington. They turned me down when I was 18. I said that I would never go back. I have gotten a little older and wiser. I go back , but only for the hunts. If this club does start in Davison I know a few people that would probably join.

Has anyone received their Bloodlines yet. Not me.

Nasty Cold!

Well this cold weather has shut me down for the past week or so. Here in SW Michigan the snow has been falling every day with real cold temps. I haven't even tried to see if a coon is running, but doubt it. I would like to see the snow "settle" a little, then maybe they can run on it.
Hope to see everyone at Belleview on Saturday. Besides the show, we will be hosting our annual appreciation dinner for all club members, and everyone at the show that day! Its free, come and join us! We also will be drawing the "blue tickets" that we gave everyone who entered any event all year long. Come on over, maybe you will win something - we have alot of nice prizes, including a new light from the boys at "Blazer"!

Like the name of that pup. I seen that and it didn't hit me at first. Keep a special eye on that pup, if it acts like the one I have I think they will be special. We call ours Sniper and he's a keeper for sure. Can't wait tell spring to start messing with him more. Tell Steph I said hi too.

Ben- Glad you like it, thought if I put a little bit of the name in there he'll make it. I love that little guy and he'll be the one I put some time into. Played with him on a hide and he's barking up once you get him excited. I can't wait till spring eaither I might actually get to put in dads face a little bit this year about who has the COONDOG! Even though the coon aren't out much right know the club is having a buddy hunt Saturday night December 10.
