I'd pick GrNtCh Nelsons Northern Buck. I know he was a reproducer for only siring 59 pups and throwing 11 of them that made NtCh or GrNtCh. I'd just like to hear him and see if he was a go yonder hound like I've been told.He may have been small as far as number of the pups he sired, but his mark on the BnT breed can't be denyed.

Sebastian's Blue Penny, Bixler's Supreme Sally, Uchtman's Flash II, Mountain Music Blue, Finley River Dan.

Also Sleepy Pinckley's old Nellie Blue.

And Pac Man. Shucks, I keep thinking of them.

TIN TIN TIN

Or Lassie would be two dogs I would like to hunt with. Drveshaft owns stock from these two hounds he knows all about them also TFELDERMAN got his stock from these two dogs. The original Rin Tin Tin dogs were silent on track and when they breed Lassie into that blood they became open trailers on track. Driveshaft tried to get some of Ole Yellar blood but his owner refused to let Driveshaft bred to him because of Driveshafts lack of knowledge of hunting dogs. TFELDERMAN took a female to Ole Yellar way back years ago but the female didn't take so he got left out too. Now these two.......... Driveshaft and TFELDERMAN just look at what they wanted to be as a coon hunter and make all of us so proud of them that they share their failure as coon hunters on a message board such at this one. Thank you two for letting us laugh at you............Both of you are a ..............HOOT...........

I'd like a night with ole Utchmans Hawk. As much as my females sire had him in his pedigree I bet they were a lot alike. Man that would be a GOOD NIGHT.

Goose Creek Slugger

Richard,
A friend of mine by the name of Sean Jenkins hunted with Slugger a couple of times.....Sean said that was probably the best dog he has ever seen....Said this dog was ALL COONDOG...He would run a track very very fast and is tops in every department. I too would like to see Slugger go when he was in his prime.. Would have been a head turner.

Just any good old country redbone that has never been
competition hunted. And I've been around plenty of them in my
lifetime. Of course I'm 102 this March. So I've seen a few good
and a few bad.
