I think that they need to leave every thing the same. If yall can't beat them babblers by treeing them ole Coons you need to look at what you are hunting. I have proved time in and out they can be beat. I will take a 3rd or 4th strike dog and be by my self any time over a first strike me two dog. That is my thoughts.

What could really help Competition hunts today would be to quit giving CIRCLE points. Just PLUS if a Coon is seen and MINUS if ones not !!!!! and No scratching for minus tree points. Let dogs that false tree just have fun; and run up minus points until the owner starts using a different type dog!!

Competition dogs would start being Bred to have a Coon around 90% of the time if a tree was plus are minus.

No circle points would be fair to all and actually help the few who still have dogs that don't tree unless a coon is there.

im sorry yall. i guess striking a ghost or whatever does make your dog better than the rest, guess im just an idiot that would think treeing a real coon is more important than strike. u have my appologies
