5th Place...

I am so proud of my little Grace. This was her first hunt. She has been several times with me but she always has to carry the garmin and she didn't understand why she couldn't use it and look at the map....lol (cause that's all she does when we are pleasure hunting). She is very shy and when she struck Bell in for the first time, she whispered it to the judge. He had to get the other kids quite to hear her. I had a great time even though i had to carry Gracie over a few mud holes 9cause she was wear crocks due to she had out grown her boots...lol). She sure did enjoy getting the prizes and having her picture taken. She did say that the lighting bugs were freakin her out, so we had to keen my walking light on while we stood in the woods.

I want to thank Lamar and Steve for judging and guiding and also taking care of Gracie when I got separated from the cast.

Thanks to all that made this hunt a special memory for me and my family

My son was on Gracie's cast, our Red dog got out of pocket and I had to go back to get her as i was judging another cast. Hope those boys were not too rowdy, mine is a talkative little fellow (he gets it honest). Congrats to her for the win and to all who participated, memories were made this past weekend that will last a lifetime.

A big congratulations goes out to the North Carolina State Coonhunters Association, job well done guys and gals. This hunt and show was a class act, my hat goes off to everyone. Congratulations to all the winners both hunt & show. It was good to see all the adults there supporting this States Youth. It was also good to see Johnny Chapman doing his usual job of helping in any way that he can. Matter of fact Johnny took most of the entries taken for the hunt & also the show. You don't find many men with his drive and courage. Good luck Johnny.

Great hunt NY daughter beckah and my Bella dog are ready for indiana. Great job kids.
