Cash's sire and dam were both top bear dogs. His mother Rosie was a top coonhound. She was high scoring Redbone female at Autumn Oaks one year and won several times at Redbone Days. But she would tree a bear when she was supposed to be coonhunting. She just loved to run and tree them.
