That and good exercise/physical therapy. Lee is spot on.

back pain
I have a cd that I would loan to anyone that is interested in it, there are alternetive ways to avoid surgery, and I urge anyone to try this fellows way for a couple of months and if it doesn't work then opp for surgery, there is ''NO'' eraser on a knife-scalpal and all it takes is one opps.
if anyone wants to listen to this cd first just pm me your name and address so I can send it to you.

Three bulgding in my back and two in my back. I'm in bad pain right now due to driving this dang fork truck on gravels and man oh man I wished I knew something to do away with it for good.

i don't know if i have any damage to my back but from time to time i will strain it and i have to walk bent over. i've found that if i do regular exercies my back stays ok. i don't have to do much just a minute every day or so. i can do some while in the shower and another when i get out of bed. i'm 63 and still work as a handy man, loading trucks, cleaning stalls, chainsawing, splitting wood. you name it and i do it like a mexican.

PATCHES
THEY MAYBE TEMPORARY RELIEF but its not a fix, kinda like when your oil light or temp. light comes on in your truck and you cut the wire to the light, you need to fix the problem-oil or coolant for the truck and the right nutrinion for your own body

I have had 3 back surgeries
and the one thing that helps me is either a hot tub or a shower as hot as you can stand it stand there for 10 -15 mins at a time with water just pounding on the sore areas helps me to some degree also working stomach and back muscles to strengthen them is what dr told me

I've been fighting back pain for the last few years. Finally had an MRI done a few weeks ago and it appears I have one herniated disc and one buldging.
I first had bad pain late last summer just before Oaks, The Chiro and the sports med Dr had it under control pretty good till the end of Jan when I tripped over a log squirrel hunting and flared it back up. I've had pain ever since the end of Jan.
I've had several shots that hadn't really helped much until last Thursday and they gave me another one and that seems to have calmed it down for now. I'm sure now that I say that I won't sleep tonight.
My Question is how many other coonhunters on here have herniated disc / buldging disc and what did you do for them or are you doing for them? I am trying NOT to have he surgery....
My Chiro does what they call disc decompression and it seems ot be helping now.
