I think it's a good idea, and i think that it would be a lot easier for the people going through the classifieds only to see if there is any dogs instead you see a lot of people putting up stud pages, And i have no problem with folks putting up their own stud pages, i might even do one for my self someday But if they were in there own categories it would be a lot easier!! You have my vote!!

I myself like seeing all the stud ads. As far as them having teams and so on its just a promotional tool. Classifieds are for selling and they are selling a service. But I agree it would be good to have a stud section. If those guys didn't list there stud ads you would miss out on a lot of use full information like witch direction the breed is going. If you take time to look at all the pedigrees you will see a pattern of what is coming as far as the type of dog that is to come. Kinda like what's hot and what's not sorta thing. Jmo

I can see where he coming from. I dont think he trying to say get rid of the STUD DOG ads just have them seperated from FOR SALE ads. It is aggrivating to sift through all the stud listings looking for whats for sale. Its a constant battle for BTT and the real ads get bumped back a few pages.

Tim this is very true there is alot of jealous people around here i think it would be great to have there real names up i dont believe its right to bash anyones stud there is alot of that going on and it should stop!!!!

How can UKC make money without the big shiny stud adds in bloodlines. a stud dog page would knock a hole in the pocket unless they charged a fee to post a stud.

One positive thing that could come from a stud dog subsection would be the elimination of a lot of the "What to breed to?" posts. With a stud dog section you could get pics and references all in one click.
