Well this is a HUNTING site and one of the moderators won't even allow you to post Opramas voting record on guns and hunting.

Yep that's right. That's the posts I had deleted before the last election.

Definately hunting related, it was guns and hunting and his actual voting record.

Problem was someone that had been raised democrat all their life who had been told all their life "democrats are for the poor people" couldn't bear to see the truth in black and white and he had to power to delete the posts.

Even though he left anything and everything up about Republicans.

Now me, I am open minded and fair minded so I didn't care that they left lies and made up stories about Bush up. They could be debunked easily enough.

But it's not right to allow one to make up anything and everything but delete the other that was public record just because you are in love with a party and don't want to have the evidence shown.

Of course he belongs to the party of "tolerance", that is tolerance of anything and everything liberal and everything else is to be censored.

Voting records of politicians trying to get elected on gun issues should be STICKY at the top of the page on any hunting site.

Also there is another thing that happens on here alot and the moderators actually can't help it.

That's when after you post something that is perfectly fine but clearly shows the liberals on the wrong side of the gun/moral/ethical/or economic side they will make up a user name and start posting racist or offensive comments.

Instead of just deleting those posts they delete the whole thread, thus playing into the hands of the ones that wanted that information supressed.

It's not the moderators fault that liberals do that, but I do wish they would just delete the posts and not the good info in the thread.

It would take too much time though. The liberals know that and use it to their advantage and get threads killed.

I am not sure that talking politics is prohibited. I think name calling and personal attacks might be what gets threads to disappear.
GA DAWG, I have owned one dog who spent over 2 years at the top of the UKC reproducers list [TW], two TWBFA Dog of the Year awards, owned, handled or produced several UKC world hunt finalists, won state championships in numerous states, and am currently hunting my fifth generation of my own bred stock. My dogs have brought home numerous tall trophies from Walker Days, Black and Tan Days and Redbone Days, and two have spent time on the Purina leaderboard. I think my credentials in the coon hunting community are just fine.
The coon hunting community is a little more diverse in it's political viewpoints than you might realize.
I have never to my recollection started a thread regarding politics. You guys don't start 'em, I won't either.

Protester, it seems funny that normally when a thread bites the dust that you have been one of the last to post on it . So much for free speech, unless it's yours huh ?

Its simple, coon hounds and comp. Hunts are a big source of income for them. If this is no longer available to them it might drive them out of work. Think about it, cross breed and grade big game hounds are sold for big money. You can still sell your hounds for prices now, just without the fancy worthless paper ukc provides. I myself have already start doing this, ill not give ukc one more of my American pennies. I know most want do this because they love the little bit of prestige of having a "registered hound" provides them, Or the glamour of the precious competition hunts. Ukc will stifle your voices and run you from this page but you could make them stand in line at the unemployment office.

I don't know about ya'll but when I get on Facebook all I get is my circle of friends farmvilleing or horoscoping or let the cat out and back in yada yada.
How do you get around in that thing find what other people are doing? ie brush?

Well, I was trying to get some shuteye and guess what? Bill O'Reiley of Fox news is reporting yet another Scam on the government. This one is the Home Weatherization Project. A project that went from $225 million to $5 Billion under Obama and basicly has no oversight. It is a progarm to install insulation and Guess What Else? Solar Panels. Did you be notified of this Project? NOT Me. Maybe I am not on the incrowd of Protesters?? Reckon? I wonder who is benefitting from those Solar Pannels? HUHHH? If the even got installed at all ? Or maybe 1,000 sq ft of them but Uncle Sam thinks it was 5,000 sq. ft. but nobody knows. Such a triviality; little leftover change to Protest with maybe??

Politics absolutely does play a part of the coonhound community. When huntin is outlawed in this country ukc wont need moderators on this board. Communication is the key.
