Congrats to the winners.

I think the numbers were down definitly because of the weather and location of the finals. Lots of people are upset about Louisiana but there's a huge obstacle in the way before the finals.

I agree Todd, and thanks for coming over last night. I think the $4 gallon of gas, the weather (possible thunderstorms) and last the location has many not sure of attending.

I do know talking with some of the hunters last night many were hunting Nite CH and said they liked the idea of 10 chances for a Nite Ch WIN !!!

n, there wasn't anyone there that was going to drive up there. I think weather was the issue

Thanks Ryan, kinda figured that anyway !! Even with the threat of Storms, then the rain hit and then stopped and came back the cast still were treeing coons. One cast that used my grounds scored on 7 coons and saw even more sitting up !!!!

I guess 3 major things played a part in the low numbers.

I don't think the hunt in Wilton hurt us much from what I heard they were way down in numbers also, like 4-5 cast ?

Talking with guys I know from Bellevue, MI and Angola, In they to were way down on entries, way down, so it has to be more then just weather

Hey Ryan, looking on brand new atlas, still can't find this mineral place? Is it near Buda ? Putnam ? Bradford ? What hwy is it on ? Is it close to Henry as it is South of Princeton ??

Brian, I can understand and see why the few from mineral would want to come up to the RQE in Elizabeth

I'll probably see you at the RQE in Henry in May since I had to serve as the MOH for our club this past weekend. Looks like the closest for me in the coming weeks.
