Hey 56,I hunted Lewis Wetzel last night and walked my butt off on both drops but at the end of the night my young dog had 4 eyes looking down.

THATS CORRECT, JACKSONBURG,ON ROUTE 20, IF YOU'RE COMING FROM ROUTE 50 OR ROUTE 2 FROM THE SOUTH, YOU CAN TAKE INDIAN CREEK, OFF OF ROUTE 18 IN TYLER COUNTY. THEY BOTH END UP AT THE LEWIS HUNTING AREA. THE INDIAN CREEK WAY PUTS YOU UP CLOSER TO THE CAMPGROUNDS. EITHER WAY IS A LONG WAY FROM KENTUCKY. I DON'T HUNT MUCH ANYMORE, I'M DISABLED, BUT I STILL KNOW WHERE I USED TO TREE COONS. PM ME AND GIVE ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND I'LL CALL YOU AND ANSWER ANY ??'S YOU MIGHT HAVE ABOUT THAT AREA. GOOG HUNTING.

I have a camp in Tyler County, off of Indian Creek Rd. About 15min from Lewis Wetzel, i have hunted behind camp some and always found a few coon. Our area has been timbered quite a bit so there are some old logging roads that you can drive a atv on that makes it easier to hunt it for sure.

I live in Logan and the hunting is not real good.We hunt up north some mainly up 77 because we like the terrain better and there's a little bit better coon population. The way I look at it anything North of Charleston is good hunting and anything South of Charleston not so good.I know there's exceptions but this is just the way I look at.
