i dont knock anyone who can and will pay that kind of money... like i said earlier i got some that want touch.... but to come on here and tell someone you know nothing about how secure thier future is and what they should do with thier money is crazy.... btw king david was the richest man in the world and im pretty sure hes in heaven

im really not knocking people that have money i just think in these times you got that kind of money you better use it wisely instead of paying that kind of money for a dog times is tuff now and dont think we have seen the worst of it yet and ive seen alot of people that have alot of money and buy all the finer things in life end up losing it all but you are right it aint none of my bussiness so i keep my mouth shut on this matter have a nice day

for some people 10k to 20k is not a lot of money. many people have money to spend. i for one do not, so i try to take a well bred pup and get him to the place where i can sell for a profit.

Yep. 10k to some ain't even like us spending a 1000. Lots of these high dollar dogs do make their money back one way or another. Remember Clayton selling a few yrs ago. Then won 25k in the nationals?

That's right. We won 37k with him while we had him. He is up around 80k lifetime now. Some are worth it. Just got to find the right one

i really dont know you so why would i judge you because if your comfortable with spending your money that way its all and good im gettin old and senile but to pay 10 thousand for a dog is just plain crazy in my books ive had alot of dogs in my yrs of hunting aint never paid 1/2 of what you paid for your 1/2 interst in your dog but i have always had a good pleasure dog but you probly do the hunts so you have to have the big money dogs to compete boy across road hunts dogs for a that his dad has owned a car dealership for yrs he had a pkc reg black dog he showed me said paid 5 or 6 thousand for but i guess dogs are like everything else in this country completely over priced

I think finding the dog worth ten grand to buy would be harder then finding the ten grand to buy it.

I would expect it to have the abillity and probability of makeing me $20.000.00 either in the stud pen, pups produced. It would have to have GREAT BREEDING and all ready proven itself in the woods and in reproduceing. Allso pass a very good vet check of MY vet.

A dog is like anything else. It is worth what it can make you. I might pay more than what something is worth just because I want it. But that doesn't make it worth what I paid.
Just means I over paid for it.
