Allen e-mailed me the location yesterday, said he checked it out last week and the coons were plentyful and fat off bananas.

Just got off the phone with a buddy that has land south of Shreveport
He said there is a lot of good hunting along with the typical thought of swamps. Only thing is he said it is die hard Bluetick country. lol He said that since it is on the Texas border, it would be a sinch to hop over there to hunt.

Weather
Its usually dry and hot here that time of the year. Last summer was the driest in over 100 years. Its forecasted to be another dry summer. We do have some water but nothing like South Louisiana.
