Since I got back into hunting my Extream Insane X gyp is all that has impressed really me that I have owned. I am hopeing to get one as close to the Lipper well as posible though. Becouse the ones I have seen I like even better.
I have a great blue dog that you can hunt with out a leash, call in off anything, doesn't hunt to deap by himself unless when he checks in you scold him.
Nice pleasure dog and very loud. He is out of Dancers Nothern Blue Son. He is just a little to hot nosed for the dry plowed ground around here.

When I was training for search and rescue dogs I needed a dog that had the drive, ability, and energy to do the work BUT with good nerve. So they could lay and rest when not working. That nervous energy makes them come off there food and they don't travel well. A few days on the road is hard on them.
What I have seen of Lipper bred dogs can kick back in the shade but you don't have to ask them twice to go to work either.

my fav pup that I have trained, out of the 4 we trained this year (as this was my first year training) was out of WSHOWCH GRCH GRWCH GRFCH 'PR' Only In America, he may not be the flashiest dog but he is accurate, naturally straight and is a nice tree dog. he is young yet and he makes mistakes but he was and still is ALL natural, I only had to work with him on treeing when he was 10 months, he is now 14 months and I havent hunted him with another dog in close to 2 months. I also have a littermate sister to him that I just recently started hunting and she is a little more tree happy but isnt too much less of a coondog than him.
I dont know how the rest of his litters turned out but I sure like what I have seen out of him so far

It has been 3 long years since I started a pup that was special. More than a half dozen have been culled in that three years, purty darn discouraging. The last good'un was off Tug River Jim.

Since that is what I do for a living I get to sample a little bit of everything.I get to see alot of better pups because most wont waste their money with me on something that hasn't shown some promise in the first place. With that being said I have had four extra nice ones here in the last year. One sired by a double clover sire.A Tequila Sunrise pup,a Bellars Pyscho pup and one out of the last litter from Strawberry Mt Rock

Travis, I have hunted with prolly more Psycho pups than any other breeding and found him to be the most consistent producer of pups that were worth feeding. The females consistently had great, loud, ringing chop mouths but the males just as consistently had soft mouths that I couldn't hear and is the only reason I have left that breeding. Anyone else ever notice this

Jim funny you said that cause she is the only psycho pup I have had here but like you said WHAT a mouth.Alan Kalal owns her and the Dressen brothers are putting a hide season on her.She made me call Whitted and see if there was any Psycho semen left.Interesting about the males.
