hey man! don't feel bad, I've lost a few boyfriends because its "suspicious" that I'm gone all night and they said i treated my dogs better than I treated them... huh, maybe cause my dogs don't care that I trudge threw the woods all night and don't care that they ride in the back of the truck, best of all, they don't mind TO MUCH when I take another out and leave them at home lol us hunting women are few and far between

i've been married to the same woman for 37 yrs. and we're still working things out. she has never gone hunting with me. she usually doesn't complain about my hunting until she get angry over something else. then it comes out, you go hunting every night, you care more about those **** dogs then you do me, you spend more on dogs than i do on my stuff, etc, etc. i try to skip a night or two from time to time so i denie her the, you go hunting every night.

LOL.........Key word is BOY friend. A man would had been out there with you. Keep looking and don't just seattle. For ever is a long time and never say it unless you mean it. It anit like awsome. You over use forever and you will regret it for ever.

Were out there guys!

Mike and I have been married almost 18 years and the biggest problem we have most of the time is who has more dogs, lol.. I found out years ago if u can't beat'em....join'em. I feed, clean kennels, vaccinate, etc all of our dogs and enjoy the time each night I get out there. About a year after we got married I got my first show dog and since then I was hooked. Most of the time Mike goes one way to a hunt and I go the other to the show so its all about compromise. I still enjoy putting on my light and hunting my show dogs every chance I get. So keep lookin guys were out there.
Oh BTW there is one rule in my house! Mike knows don't bring a wife or girlfriend to my house to "hang out" while the guys are hunting. Because if she's a complainer about her man coonhunting well we will just put a couple of lights to and hit the woods too

I've beeen Married 28 yrs to the same woman and won't trade her for the world but she knew what she was getting into. The day we got married some asked when I was going to cut down on my dogs the answer was simple. I had them before her and I have them after her and their still both here [I aint saying there haven't been some disagreement]but i'm enjoying both some times not sure whitch one more lol [ incase she reads this]

The only reason I am involved with my hounds is my husband.
My first would have never dreamed of coon hunting or hounds.

God has blessed me with a great husband and because of that he introduced me over 10 years ago to the coonhound world.

Now I can not imagine being with out my husband, my hounds or coonhunting/showing.

Not all women are bad some love the sport just as much or more than the men do!!!!

It's kind of amazing how many men and women that coonhunt and are divorced and blame it on the coonhunting and dogs. Could it have been poor choices in selecting your lifes partners?

That would work if things stay the same. I didn't hunt when I was 19 ............34 years ago. Didn't know anything about mental problems 34 years ago. I made a promise 34 years ago and will stick to it till I die. Few peoples life is perfect but some will accept this and keep there promiss and responsibility to there wife and kids. Others will just switch like they would a hat when they get tired of it.

Coon hunting may have been an issue but making it with the mother N law doesn't help a relationship.

ya us coon girls are out there...i run around with some that would rather be in the woods on a fri night than at the mall....my bf gets on my case sometimes he said all i talk about is coon this and coon that....haha he likes to hunt but he likes deer hunting usually he will get his buck then we are in the woods at night from there on out....i hunt deer till coon season comes in then im coon bound....we are out there just keep looking

You have to ask them to go. If they live in the opposite direction call them up and ask them to meet you at the woods.
