I hope it's not to serious.

I guided Randy's Jack dog back in Feb. at RQE in Aurora,MO.
He won the hunt. Jack and JJ. must be pretty awesome red dogs.

If the hunt is over, it will probably be a little while before we know anything. They will leave a cliffhanger until the cast gets back to the grounds to announce it, I would imagine.

What an exciting cast it has been!

Not to take anything away from Scar but if do-overs were an option I'm thinking Jerry Moll would have been all over it. Jenni was treed on a fence row with time winding down and Dancer and Scar a hundred yards away on a bad track in a been field. Jenni had the lead and took a minus for leaving that tree, after Jerry called her. In those days there was no stationary rule.

Wow... that was 12 years ago but I still see the picture like it was last night.

My buddy Dean Miller was on that cast, I believe he was the backup judge. We were just talking about that hunt and Jerrys tree call last night. Dean said to this day he still can't believe he treed her when she was obviously in something and not wooded. I bet Jerry still thinks about that one.
I believe Jenny was also in the Final Four of the PKC World Hunt that year or the year before. One of the hunt savviest females ever and never was bred.

Yes, Dean was a back up judge. Not sure where Dean gets that she was not wooded. ?? I could probably still find that same tree in the fence row where she was wooded. There was nothing in that fence row for her to get into. I'm wondering if Dean isn't referring to her being called treed after that? When she left that tree and got minused it put her behind in points. But then she moved on down into the woods and halfway treed again when Jerry called her again. She left that also. She could very well have been in something there. Prior to that last tree minus, she still had an opportunity to win if she treed alone with a coon. Almost happened and Jerry had little time to make the call at the end. Bottom line - when she left that tree in the fence row, things kinda went from bad to worse for Jenni. Yes, dang nice female and won a lot. Just didn't come together for her on this night.

Jerry

I ask jerry the same question. Why did u tree her jerry. His answer was when she locates I'm going to tree her. But I've always said that's why as a handler you half to factor in fences and other things that can happen. In the end there a dog and we are human.
