Sorry, but a pair of Timber Wolves will kill a whole pack of coyote dogs in about 3 to 5 min. It's happened in MN. Remember a male timber wolf can weigh between 150 to 165# and most do. The adult females will weigh between 110 and 125#. One will grab the back of a hound and the other grabs around the neck and they skin it in about 10 to 20 sec.

I believe the state game comissions know it's a serious problem and realize the mistake it was relocating them but now are powerless to do anything about it. Most of them are federally protected which means a judge somewhere makes a decision to keep them protected.

the wolf problem isn't about wolves. it's about the culture that believes man must go so that the creature may stay. it's about what happens when a society stops worshiping the creator and then turns to worshiping the creature. in their twisted thinking, they think that since they got rid of man they will somehow be honored and allowed to live. if the wolves delete the game, the hunters will have no use for hunting gun and ammo and will eventually give up their guns. there are fewer and fewer hunters every year. as a hunter, we are a very small minority now.

Be interesting to see what happens when the hogs from the south meets the wolf from the north.

This is what I call a Good Timber Wolf. How long do you think your dogs would last aginst him? This is a full grown male.

... and people talked the federal government into introducing these beasts back into the lower 48. This is the result of every generation thinking it's smarter than generations of the past.

Now the genie is out of the bottle...

YEP, I am to old and fat to climb myself. Been thinking about packing becouse of the wild hogs, mountain lion, and the yotes just keep getting braver. I use to cary all the time and stoped but I am going to have to go back to it. I will just cary a 40. They would have to be pretty stupid to think I was shoot coon with it.

Okie Dawg did you slip up and mean Black Panthers instead of mounting lions?

No we have a sighting of balck panthers every now and then. Never know if there true or not but the mountain lions have been proven. several have been killed. Last one was a weak or so and was hit by a car. Young 130 lb. male.

I believe I have one that raises on one of the palces I hunt. I figure that is about the only time one would mess with a man is if you stumble onto there cubs.

I know the only Wolf problem in S.W. Missouri is people trying to raise cross bred(Hybrid) and letting them get out of hand...a few years ago i thought i saw one running across a field...i convinced myself it wasn't...the next day i saw it again...i called the local conservation dept and they assured me i was wrong...after the 4th time of calling and demanding to have someone come to investigate tracks i'd found and took pictures of they told me they were investigating a group of people that were raising "Hybrids" and turning them loose....STUPID tree huggers that feel sorry for animals can cause more trouble than the idiots that try to regulate the wolf population

YEP people think that the hogs are spreading fast here and they are. They wouldn't be near as fast though if people wouldn't dump them out. I know they have dumped Russian Boar out to have something for the others to mix with. Russian is probubly the meanest of all the breeds.
