Benny Ray (Trip X GrNiteCh Silver Ch Hardwood Maggie) My 6 month old pup, (on the tree), first time to the woods. Ran and treed a coon with my Page female (standing at base).

4th time i turned him loose he ran and treed. He was pry 800 deep and the wind was really rollin last night when he opened sure enough put a smile on my face if you know what i mean.

Roger, his girls, and I hunted til around 4:00 a.m. after the hunt and I thought I had a true first and first dog but this pup really put it together and wow loud, loud, loud with an awesome locate! This dog should finish out spectacular.

Congrats to Mitch Weaver with Penny on her second place win in Maple and Roger Roberts with your third place registered to make Ranger a NiteCh! Both extra nice young dogs off Trip! Penny just needs a first to be a nitech now. They both have that extra that I look for.

I agree Ben, I had the opportunity to be outdogged by Penny Saturday night and both pups should finish into something extra special. Little Elsie was just too darn ambitious when she realized who she was competing with...beat a few coon to the tree lol.

Ben,

Rain is doing well. We have been hunting her by herself and with Rascal. When we cut them together. Rascal turns right and Rain turns left (every time). Friday night Rain treed 3 singles and Rascal treed 2.

Saturday night, Rain treed a jumbo and an XXXL before the fog and Jacob got tired. The last track was after the frost came down, but it didn't seem to bother Rain.

Both coons looked good. They are boarded now. Hey, we have been seeing a decent buck on Arnold going around the construction. Each time he was with a doe.
