I've raised EVERY litter of pups that I've ever had on Purnia Puppy Chow. The only time I've ever had any problems with it was when I started the female of Puppy Chow as soon as I bred her. Those pups all had puss pockets on their elbows at 2 weeks old. They weighed 6lbs. Ever since that litter I've waited till the female was about 3 weeks from whelping and I've never had any problems since.

There is nothing wrong with being a little chubby. Heck I am a lot chubby mysel or some would consider me just plain fat.

Free feed

I give my pups all they will eat until they quit growing. Once they are grown up I give them what I think they need to stay in shape.

RUN???

Me and Murph can walk but the body style I have is not condusive to running!!! Of course being fat gives me a good excuse not to climb trees.

john, i have had you cruisin through the woods for the dogs and you me. you aint that big, geez. and i am a smoker. good lord. glad duke did good earlier. i think he has big potential. he is very very independant, like skeet. they both just split and meet at the tree. i cant wait til things calm down a little and i aint working six days. greased the truck and got mad tonight. i have to fix alot on someone elses stuff. geez.
back to you running and guns, betcha if i bring my 44 i can make ya dance, lol

I've raised several litters of pups on Diamond Puppy and it's good feed. I don't know if it is better for pups than the Extreme Athlete or not. Our local feed store doesn't carry the EA so I haven't tried pups on it.
