Yes,Scotty he works in mysterious ways,thanks to Hank,Jeff,Don,we planed on having a Vet on site but she back out at last minute,so if we can find a sub,we will post and update if not,will let Scotty rubbem on the head for free,how that sound to yall.Now before you say,it works for him and his.

AND,if I failed to mention,Scotty Cain,Worlds Greatest Coonhunter will be on site for your convenance,and information about coonhunting.

AND of course Sherry,mybaby,will be there to aggravate yall.

Did I mention this dog box,guys and girls this is a b class diamond delux box that fits a large or small truck,its perrrrrrty,and its very light to my surrprise when I pick it up,and no I havnt used it but you can beeeleevee this,I am gona buy me a playing card or two for a chance at it.

And yes if you can,

take them hounds over to Vanceboro and as Mr. Chew mentioned and warm them dogs up,took a hound of ours a few years back(DOTTIE), and she did well there.Good club and people.

Hope to see Mr. Chew Monday!

If I had a swim dog I surley would be there!! Who knows, I still might show up just for fun. I know plenty who will be there and having fun visiting is really what it's about.

There will be some running beagles on the grounds for sale,and I will have a young male off of HARDWOOD BEAN for sale. EVERY BODY COME ON AND LESS HAVE A GREAT BIG TIME.

a great time.Somebody buys that Bean hound off Scotty and putt the huntdown on him this season and youll have a nice hunten partner for sure.

Well lets see,the red tickets,for raffle,six for five,twelve for ten,twentyfour for twenty,and for thirty dollars as many tickets that will strech out fingertip from left to right fingertips across your chest.

Went out with Scotty last nite after our event meeting and the hounds hunted about thirty minutes and when they came back in we called it and went home,it was warm.its about nine thirty here and 81 out.But I have a good time hunting with Scotty,we had Sherry with us to enliten us with here insite on hunting too.I know he as I am is itching to go out when we can,it not right having cabin fever in the summer,that for when its to cold.

Three days left,lets get it on,95 for the high with a thirty % chance of a shower on Monday THE FOURTH.

And bring them hounds to.We love to see people having fun with family,friends and thier coonhounds,mans best friend,his hound.

Where I work people who pick up stuff from us sometimes bring their dog with them and I'll say often,oh you got your hunting hound with ya and most times they say no this is so and so he is a rescued dog,I'll say rescued from what,some will say from hunters and well,mostly I say what a waste.Most that come to where I work to pick up stuff are retired northerners living on one of the many private gated communities around here,but I still have fun with them and their hounds.Then as they pull on around to leave theres my truck setting with a dog box on the back.

Hopefully,Joe&Henri McClees,Lobbyist&Lawyer with NC SPORTING DOG ASSOCIATION will make it in from down around the coast and we will be albe to make some time after the kids bench show so they can tell yall alitte about themselves and NCSDA,INC. And some of new leg,and bills and some of the new laws. We look forward to see them if they make it, it will be fun to have them with us just to visit and share in the great time we will have.

You know the sport of hunting is in danger,its been that way for a long time now,it only gets worse every year,and we have no one but ourselves to blame,we need to protect our sport get envolved with calling our reps,in local,state,and national when we know there are bills beening introduced that is bad,keep watch and stand with people like Joe&Henri and the help they give so we can pass down what we have in general,HERITAGE,TRADITION,FREEDOMS.Beleave me when I say it takes numbers to get their attention,cause they want to stay where their at in gov.And the speical intrest groups have more time,money,friends in the right places than we do.So get busy,do somthing about it,if you love your why of life.

Please,

When you come to our event,please keep your hounds with plenty of water as the temps rise their need for it becomes more.Please bring something with you to water your hound with.

We have plenty of shade on the grounds all the way down to the pond on both sides,so use it for your hounds and yourselves,we want it to be a injoyable time for yall as possiable.

The temps are exspected in the middle ninties,on the fourth with some chances of rain.And around here for this time of year,thats just right to have some fun.

WE the club this year,have made a decision to make our club smoke&tobacco free for the small children and older ones who attened,this is not ment as a insult to FARMERS,SMOKERS,CHEWERS,WE KNOW how important the tobacco (indust) has been here in the south,just thinking of others and there health conditions,fill free to light up&dip or chew out side the building,Thank you for your understanding.

Well,

used today to work around the house alittle,rested,went out with some family and ate at Russel's fish house,just got back alittle while ago and it is78 out side,was gona turn loose but figured NOT,all the hounds seem to be resting good tonite and ILL JUST LET THEM stay cooler and quite,no my neighbors will like that,they are good ones though.

ONE more day and its on,hound to hound,pound for pound,see whos got the best that day,brag the rest of the evening.Probley get there around nineish,Scotty said he would have the gate open by eightish.

REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING OLD FRIENDS,AND HOPEFULLY MAKE A FEW NEW ONES,love to see youths out taking up the sport,thats the future of keeping it alive, its hard to keep them interested in it,but some come to love it.

YALL THAT ARE MAKING THE TRIP TO OUR EVENT BE SAFE ON THE ROADS,SEE YA THERE,GOD BLESS.Sherry&Harvey&Members,Oh and Scotty to,couldnt forget our main man.Keep it to the top please.

It is all most that time every body hope you got your dogs ready.I looked out behind the barn and could'nt find nothing that would swim.So i will just have to work at the water race.Just my luck,but I will have a big old time any way.So all that will come and be with us on the 4th.I got so many differnt ways you got to like some of them.

A QUICK,

thanks to those who came out today as guest&sportsmen and sportswomen to our club and put up with us,all and all I think it was a succes because of you all,Sherry and Ididnt get much time to visit with most everyone but it was good to see all of you and those great hounds you brought with ya.And those of ya who help out on our events who are not members thanks,one special young lady who worked very hard at running the drag for us on the feildtrial this oldman thanks ya.

To you members who work hard to make our fourth events a success thanks,you know who you are.

A special thanks to my son Bobby,the one on the rope to rescue the hound in the water race,my oldest girl Grace who sold at two hundred or more in white tickets,I love ya'll,proud of you.

Thanks to Johnny Chapman for being our bench show judge at the last moment.

Thanks to Hank Purvis,Jeff,Don,you guys setting up ment a great deal for us.
