Saw it in Coonhound Bloodlines and gave you a call. Thanks for reminding me. That makes him a littermate to Eric's dog. When Eric's makes Nt ch. that will be the 3rd. one from that litter. Don't any of you remeber the sixties?--ask your parents--we were the just say yes generation . You could actually buy stuff with pennies and dimes, but you had to save them. We street raced a lot down here, it was run what you brung--like coonhunting --put up or shut up-- small block vrs. big block--put your foot on the pedal and let the bad luck happen--if you couldn't run with the big dogs stay on the porch. After my 1st. cousin would win, he'd get out of his car and say--SRFMFON! Put one in his 2 door Bel-aire Sedan 55 and had one in his 61 Bubble top Impala. You can get this I got faith in ya. Don't let me down! Beatles did that one-another product of the sixties. See ya later O.K. bye!

Thought that was her, but knew you could confirm. The photo of 6 Again that Ed ran at first was one I took that showed what a SLOBER MOUTH TREEDOG he was , that 2nd photo of her shows she got some of that from her Old Man. She's got alot of black on her and that was typical of most of the pups off him that I saw.My Big Boy dog has more black on the other side not shown in the Bluebook's. With any luck I'll be able to get him granded out as well. Latest clue--glo! Good Luck in the World Hunt as well Eric!

Eric your 2nd reply was done while I was replying to the 1st. Now you are capable of telling us what--SRFMFON--stands for. We were out late last night-hot and muggy conditions but recent rains have really helped. We had Reject, ( 6 Again x Joanie) May Flower ( 5 Again x Flower) which makes her a halfsister to 6 Again and Bonnie ( Big Boy x May Flower) who is registered as Flower 3 .Reject and May Flower both have 1st places in UKC, so with any luck they will be Nt Chs soon. Thanks for playing along. Post the answer and make it official, before someone else beats you to it. Happy Father's day everybody!--saw a great quote while in the VA Hospital for my latest operation, we always said if the Marine Corps didn't kill us the VA most likely would-only socialized medicine we currently have--anyway the quote--If you have a pulse you have a purpose!!

Go Deep!!!!

Wide--hard hunters that kick dirt in your face at sunset and are still doing it at sunrise. Any of you that pulled some allnighters with Ed can relate to what he not only likes but expects. Deep mouths even on the females-some choke down when treed, you know the type that tend to get hoarse after hard huntin. Plenty of go from what I have seen-can be trouble when coon are not moving. It usually takes me 4 years to do what Ed and Terry can do in 2 so the complete verdict is still not in. I'm feeding, hunting and have raised a litter off my bitch. She is the 1st one since her ole man to make me think about age and bigger tracts of land. Let me know how this one you are getting operates r--good and/or bad! Good luck and as always when I can help let me know .

Solve the puzzle!

Thank you to everyone who got back to me about the young dogs out of 6 Again, wish you continued success with them. If you feel like it please let me know how they are doing. There are others out there and I'd love to know about them as well. Eric Werry guessed Surfing 409--a quick reveiw of the clues-a Mad Dog sold by Paul , up north, sixties ,music , saving pennies and dimes , racing, winning, glo, a female and of course putting one in a 55 Chevy and one comming in a 61 Chevy. What my 1st cousin whould say when he got out of the car having won a race was SRFMFON, which it took awile for us to figure out as well was that famous Beach Boys song that has been used in commercials--She's Real Fine My 409--SRFMFON!! Mad Dog Glo 409, figured that would be an easy guess for the Mad Dog folks. Good Luck everybody from the orginal home of Team Blue and when I can help let me know.

Beating the bushes for these 54 out of 6 Again has turned up 3 more with 1st. places in ukc. John Steeber if you picked the one up from the hills --let me know about him? Really appreciate the responses. Would like to hear from others if you know of something out of 6 Again. Do know of some that are being tuned up for their first hunts right now--the very best of luck to you as well. My female from 6 AgainXJoanie is named Terri Took'er. Ed and Terry call every male dog that goes from here to up there -a CW dog.--while male dogs from up there that come down here are simply called --you guessed it---Jet! Blue Bio Blue Jet in Georgia was called CW in Mich. First time I asked Ed how the pup from Jet 6 and Flower was doing, Ed said --the CW pup is really-- What do you call him? Jet -Ed-thats a pretty common name around you and Terry. So for a little play on words my female is Terri Took'er--besides there is always the chance she could end up back up there for hunting and maybe a little romance. Terry here,s hoping you can make it back down for the Winter Classic next year and give me a chance to make up for last years short visit. I guarantee all my work, but lawyers and doctors just practice--things are looking good and thanks for reading!

Just got in from a hunt with Rejet, out ot 6 Again x Joaine--he went deep to tree one--very hot and humid. Glad I decided to take a peep before hitting the rack. Joe you've got to be proud of both of them and a great looking photo too. Now that Patch is a Gr Nt Ch hope Ramblin Blue Junior is next and they are both PRP Sires. I do not know of any dogs out of 6 Again for sale. Jason Cooper what was the name of the bitch you hunted with out of 6 Again and who owns her? Oh yea Joe almost forgot--based on the photo you posted Junior and Rejet look exactly alike. Will try to get a picture of him on here so you can see for yourself. Jacob Webb from Pine Mountain,Ga. is qualified to hunt in the Youth Nationals this year and will be hunting Blue Bio 6 Again's Big Boy in it. We wish all the kids the best of luck and good luck to Jacob and Big Boy too!

Joe July 22 & 23 Decatur, Tenn. June issue Coonhound Bloodlines pg. 34 has all the details. The Becky bitch was mine when we bred her to 6 Again--in fact she came here when he went north. She is from the Hillbilly X Treeslamin Lady cross that was made 4 times I think, that cross is the main reason Hillbilly's on the reproducers list, of course he has alot to do with her being #2 on the all time list! Did Junior receive points toward UKC Nt Ch for his wins at the WV Youth Hunt and if so what was he credited with? Many of us that were associated with 6 Again think he was the real deal and when Ed Mead said---And I agree with him---that he thinks 6 Again would have out reproduced Jet 5 that lets me know all the effort then and now is worth it. If there is a cross that will benefit any of us and some combination will yeild results that come close to matching his abilities then I'll do my part to see that it happens. I have hunted some of these same woods and swamps since the midsixties with alot of the very best hounds our breed has produced and the other breeds as well and for me 6 Again pleased me the most---any and every way you want to look at it. I say this with a great deal of respect for the people and hounds that I've hunted with here over the years!

CW I am very very familiar with the Hillbilly/Lady cross as well as the Hillbilly/Posie cross as well as many other of the Hillbilly crosses. I thought a great deal of the ole boy.
Junior pictured above was whelped by the Emmy II dog wich was born here, and myself and kennel partner Steve Beson whelped the Junior dog up here also.
The 6 Again cross on Emmy II was prolly one of the best we ever made. I plan on to continue with it in some fashion down the road. You keep working those young dogs down there and send them back up here to Ed and we will breed to them lol.
Seems 8 might of got a turn down that way also. I really enjoyed that dog as well. Keep doing what your doing CW it works pretty well I figure. Dave
