Some big talk here. Being a lowly hide hunter, if my dog went two miles to tree a coon here in western Iowa, two creatures would be getting thier butt kicked.......the dog for going two miles and me for dropping her in a spot that there wasn't a coon within two miles. Hit the cream and move on, time is money.

I do not mind one that's gets deep to tree a coon. I do mind one that makes a straight line to get there. I want a dog that makes big circles. Really I can live with about any kind of range as long as it ends up under a coon somewhere.
