The dog box comment was really tongue in cheek. The ones who agree with you probably are using similar size kennels. I logged on here and showed the pic you have here to someone who has not seen this thread and could care less either way and I said "look at these pics and give me your first impression".
The first thing out of their mouth was that it looked like a chicken coop, not a place to house a dog.
I can assure you I am not jealous, maybe a little embarassed for you, but certantly not jealous. Now if you had that thing stretched out another 10-15 feet I might be a little jealous!
Do not come on here asking folks to check out your new kennels if you do not want honest responses.
Like I told you before, they are very well built, built to the point that the workmanship is impressive. Its just too small in my opinion.
I am not saying you are a bad person or should be hauled away by the dog police if you "store" your dogs in that kennel, I am just giving my opinion that it would be too small for me!

Nice!!! I agree though, kinda small. I admit that I don't hunt every night, and there isn't a DANG THING WRONG WITH THAT!! Even if I did hunt every night, I would want a bigger space for my dog to RELAX in. JMO!!

looks about like the rabbit hutches we used to have! Your not really gonna keep hounds in that are you??? Might be a good punishment for one if it gets a possum or something throw him in there with the off game and do the shocker everytime he decides to grab it. lol

I wouldnt want to keep one in a small cage like that..

what are the size of the pens?

Looks like a whopping 6x2, maybe 6x3 if the dog is lucky and that includes the house area!

This is a public and national forum the last time I checked so if you do not want opinions, do not come on here soliciting them. I was never ugly or curt in my initial response, just honest. The OP is the one who became ugly! Talk to him about the Lord, not us!

So I was right when I said that folks who loved the kennel were using kennels the same size! Thanks for lending credence to my statement! Maybe I am not as dumb as Mr. Hill thinks!

I would like to see the polls you have taken to indicate that you hunt more than most! Have you interviewed "most" to be able to derive these results? Of course not!
If I had kennels that small my dogs would hang out with me and the wife too!
You can call it family time if you want, I think you are just trying to be compassionate if you let the dogs hang out with you and the wife because you know in your heart a kennel that size is too restrictive!

MAN I HAVE A NITECH PKC CH 2 WINS AKC COULD OF HUNTED ONE OF THE WORLDS IN 09 THAT IS ALMOST FIVE YEARS OLD THAT HAS LIVED IN THE HOUSE ALL HIS LIFE. HE IS **** NEAR IN MY LAP NOW. HE HAS NEVER BEEN CHAINED OR IN A PEN.THE ONE THAT LIVES IN THE BACK YARD HUNTS 5 TO 6 NIGHTS A WEEK AND HAS JUST STARTED WORKING ON GRAND. SHE IS IN THE BEDROOM WITH MY WIFE IN THE BED. BY THE WAY I LIVE IN A STATE THAT WE CAN CAST OUR HOUNDS 365 NIGHTS A YEAR AND LOVE IT.
