trip

i just came from alabama today next to mobil there was still some big tracks of farm land down there it looks like we stayed on a lake in a cabin it was peacful i would listen for dogs never herd any. i was really suprised in the undeveloped territory but glad to see there is still territory out there in places.

Hello Clay- Just an FYI my brother has a Male dog off Party Dancer that is bred similar to your stuff. Though my brother doesn't comp hunt his hound made a pretty nice coonhound.

Pretty good blood in them hounds, Good Luck with them!!

thanks i have enjoyed the english bloodline since 1989 it has been good to me. ya'll have the best of luck as well.

got to the tree instead of shinning for a coon we was shinning for lucy. but the coon was just a little higher.

these pups was as easy to tie out on the chain as i've ever tied it was like they was ready get away from each other. they are quit, freindly and senseable.

things about hitch's parents

hitch's mom was straight independant. she never backed a dog or hunted with a dog even from the first time i hunted her. when i started her she did everything on her own. she was almost silent on track but deadly on tree. she would bounce around cornfeilds treeing coons while others would be running cornfeilds. she was easy to start because she was going to tree. i never had any trouble her or her brother running any fast game. HITCH'S dad my father's dog was a good track dog in the woods. would run the hair off a coon in a cornfeild was quick to find a coon. not a bad tree dog. i didn't hunt with him alot so i can't tell you how he started or if he started trashy or what. but the times i went with him when my dad was hunting him at home he was pretty much a coon dog. me and my dad never did hunt together much when we turned aloose it was is competitive as the final night at the world hunt. that's some things about hitch's parents. my nephew turned hitch aloose with my female back in january for a dog that has never been hunted or had a coon put out to him. he went like he had been hunted all his life.

i filled a tire feeder at one of my hunting places. the hole was about 3inch's round 2 weeks ago something made it much bigger. and the feed was gone. i have tire feders on the ground but i think i like the tire feeders hanging in the tree better. because they only feed what climbs a tree.

turned my pups out of hitch aloose one was on the go i never did see him most of the day i would hear him in the hollow barking that was there first complete day aloose.

been down since april havent been able to work but i think the doctors beginning to straighten me out. doctor been having me walk i've been taking notice to these pups out of hitch and molly. where haven't been able to fool with them to keep them worked down and quite. they haven't gotten horse at all big mouth loud and clear. i havent handeld them at all my dad has been feeding for me i figured they wouldn't let me catch them. they came to me like i had been working with them every day. i went back in the hollow yesterday there was berries everywhere it's time to see what i'm going to have here. i keep the blue male after i got ride of the female out of the second litter of hitch.

i had a freind call me wanting to take his son and nephews hunting. they came to the house 3 boys around 8 i dont no wich we turned aloose the dogs or the boys. the dogs ran a track across the hill and put it in the ground. the boys fount the pond and chased frogs they even caught a few frogs. they got more meat than the dogs did though.

i carried the two pups out of hitch back in the hollow. they had a big time when i went to leave they wasn't around. i went own to the house the white male and the female i carried back with them came to the house. the blue male maid him a bed where i turned him aloose and stayed till i came for him. my dad went back in the hollow picking blackberries and seen him he wouldn't follow him out. he waited till he seen me then came to me and i walked out he followed me just like i had a leash on him. until he smelt where my mom had pitched out some scraps went over toward them i called him he came right back and stayed with me till i tied him at his house.
