Due to more information; ie, two dogs were trailing out of hearing in different directions, time out was a legitimate call and the track points were corectly deleted.

Time out can be called for any reason if the majority of the cast votes for it but the track points are minused unless specified by the rule. Track points are deleted only when time out is called in accordance with specific stated reasons.

thats not always so i had a female that you could not look at and tell when she was in... the only way to tell was with a male dog... she had 3 litters of pups and never bled a drop... btw one litter was off of a 14 mth old pup when she got bred in the woods pleasure hunting

They all get minused tree points, as all agrees. They should all be deleted on strike points as soon as the cast agrees to call time out, and the reason for calling time out has no effect on the deleted points. when time out is called, strike points are deleted. A plus again Jim.

That was why the call was agreed upon. We were just trying to get the dogs back in the same woods. It was a registered cast nobody was calling timeout to keep from being minused on off game. We were just trying to keep em in the same woods.

Don't get to call time out for convenience. Cast should had been scratched for not following rules.

Two dogs running and two are haveing sex. Doubt if they were bawling or getting further away. You follow the two that are still bawling.

It happens. It's not suppose to happen but you bet it does. There are rules that specify when it is apropriate to call timeout. Whether or not they should have called time in the situation in this thread, I don't know. I wasn't there. But my response was in view of the rules and that rule is very straight up. If timeout is called, strike points are deleted. End of story.
