house's chief
finley river chief
finley river banjo
house tomtom
house clint
if he wasnt bred to half the junk like he was before just cause people wanted to make money off his pups,,
i think LIPPER would give people what they are looking for if they could just get past breeding junk females for the puppy dollars.
some of the other dogs people mentioned would be ok if a person could put up with the backtracking/fighting/inconsistant treedogs ,
why do you think the OLD BLOOD of some of these dogs fizzeled out,,
that ad. was post dated in 2009 for the cloneing, are there any updates on it??
did you notice the dumbazz remark from the humane woman?
how the heck would cloneing some dna cause a dog/cat pain/suffering,
stupidest thing i ever heard...

Cloning a Legend
I haven't hunted with any big name dogs only heard stories and seen pictures. I would clone something that I knew what they did night after night. I would clone my dad's ol dog, GRNITECH Glancy's KY FOOT, or Dave McClouds GRNITECH River Kennel Butch dog. No matter the weather, time of year, or conditions they TREED COON.

If cloning became a real option, stud dogs would be a thing of the past. They would become completely obsolete. Some of the best coondogs that ever lived were not noted reproducers. If I could clone something the ONLY qualification would be that it was the hardest to beat. My choices would be Hardwood Henry, Silver Dollar Cracker or Bad Habit. Mill Creek Molly would be another.
Make me pick just one, BAD HABIT.

The only thing is that most of us coon hunters couldnt spend the money (100,000 bucks?) to have cloning done therefore a cloned dog would go for more than that right? I dont believe studs would be obsolete. jmo
funny nobody would clone banjo 2
5 2nd places finish in the acha world.
when they didnt go head to head went by total scores
for the wk 4hr hunts mint frost was on the ground when
you got done and could drowend out all these squilly mouth
dogs today.

Dude, he was a fox hound and the chances of our coon dogs being descendants of him are very slim. Have you ever seen a pic of him he had about as much hound in him as my wife's cur dog. He was black and tan in color, not a black and tan.

Excuse me for being confused. I didn't realize I had jumped on or off any wagon, simply asking for information to understand your statement more clearly.
Its obvious you all never hunted with "Table Rock Flying Hawk". Your choice would be unanmious
