Well we both came up a little short. Brummy got struck and let the dang 8 catch him and next time he barked he was a LONG ways treed. He had a coon. After we score his tree a guy with an English gyp treed her a LONG ways in there and she had a coon. I wound up with 100- 225+ and the Enlish gyp had 200+

Dan had 300+ 0- and 400+ won the cast, got split once and couldn't find his coon, he was on a big den.

I think he'll finish on out fairly quick if I haul him.

How many wins do you have on Cuda?

Better not turn him loose unless you're ready to go hunting. He'll tree a coon off the lead if it's there, if it's not he'll go just as far as it takes. Ya'll wouldn't believe the big water this dog has swam.

I hunted Jones for 8 years and NEVER swam to him. I've hunted Brummy for less than 3 and swam to him 3 times. He has no quit and his reverse gear is tore up. He's got brains though, he doesn't run over coons he just goes until he gets struck whether it's 100 yards or 2 miles, and seems to be dominate in throwing this trait in his pups.

I talked to Nathan last night Michael, he said he was tickled with the little Brummy gyp. Two things that are really standing out to me is the GO he is putting in his pups and they're mouth. Out of his two litters every pup that I have heard has had a real nice mouth. Also gotta love the fact that they like treeing real live coons.

Hes putting the GOOOOO in them forsure..I know that might sound bad to some folks with thicker coon..Here if you dont have it..You dont tree coons..No telling what he might throw if he gets some more pups on the ground..

Nathan told me last night they were going to breed Majic to him when she comes in, I know she's a nice little gyp.

Another guy from south GA called me yesterday and wants to take a hunt with him, he's interested in breeding his nice female.

I'm going to breed my Kate (Hammer 18XSmokin' Joe) female when she comes in.

Me and a good friend from MI have a plan in the works to get him bred to a SUPER nice gyp he owns.

We're gonna get some pups scattered around. The most important part to me is to get the pups in the right hands.

I understand man, we'll get together soon. As soon as I figure out if I don't have to work Saturday I'm gonna give Cody a call.

Had a great hunt with Chris McCrary, Casey Poole and Sam Hodges last night. Made several tree's and looked at several coons. Casey's little Bessie gyp is a real nice hound. Chris' Chief pup is well on his way to making a nice hound. Sam was hunting ol' Ghost, the only Redbone I've ever hunted with that I liked.

Enjoyed it guys!

Enjoyed it as always Chris. He ain't scared of the dark for sure.

Me, Tyler Allen and Travis Andrews made a couple of dumps early in the night on my club. Brummy and another son of his that Tyler is just now starting to hunt named Big Boy treed a coon and Dan got split deep on a huge ol' nasty tree. Then we met up with Casey at the WMA and made a few dumps without much success, dogs hunted hard, coons just weren't stirring I don't think.

I think they stirred real early, we cut at first dark and struck a good track and went about 300 yards and treed with a coon. After that until about 3am we didn't strike another good track. The last dump that me and Casey made Bessie and Brummy struck a good track and strolled it in there but we didn't look at a coon. There was a hole way up high in the tree.

I've been waiting on my Kate female to come in heat for the last month and she started bleeding today. She's a nice little female, has a real good mouth, likes to get to herself, not silent but fairly quiet on the ground. I bought her several months ago and haven't hunted her a whole bunch but I've liked what I've seen.

The pups should be due around May 12th. Anybody interested in a pup post here or shoot me a PM. This is what the cross will look like on paper.
