Great Hunt, Good Time with all. Met alot of nice new people. Nate and your crew. you about have my arm twisted off, I am considering trying the hunting beagle format. Enjoyed our talk after the hunt. Wish I didn't have to leave so early to pick the dog. Looking forward to So Michigan and Homer beagle club working together. Hope to see you soon.

Had a great time, probably one of if not the best time's i've had at a hunt. Nate and crew did a great job of making sure everything went smooth, seen some of the best judging i've ever seen, Kyle, Matt,Nate and even Joe (LOL). hope they do it again.look out Joe the kid's coming after mom,LOL.
First let me say THANK YOU to everyone who helped in the hunt. judges, guides, and the people who showed up to help support the club and try out PP. Things went well even with the freezing rain we got Friday night. I think everyone had rabbits but they sure did set tight and some ran better then others. Glad Leach did pay attention to something that went on he has the winners correct and here is 7th-10th. Congrats to the winner and people who placed.
7th Marvins Marvolous Mad Max, Matt Pish
8th Triple DN Cabin Fever Sally, Dave Mumby
9th Get em Rolling Ranger, Kyle Campbell
10th Sauber Buddy(tank), Gerl and Matt Pish
Now for some fun. Eugene don't be giving my new best buddy Stetler a hard time on his post he was just having a little fun. Plus you and Leach need to stick to what Brian and I tell you to do just run dogs and lets us take care of everything else! lol
Stetler and I judged a great cast of dogs and after running the full hour people started calling us the "dream team" of judging. We had the pack covered from start to finish. Glad to see my buddy Stetler taking notes on how to judge from me. lol I have had calls all over the place asking if the "dream team" would come help judge at there hunts.lol
Joe you are about to make us mad in Michigan. You stated on Saturday you are no part of the Indiana Train. You come up and win Champs and place 4th in opens and now you are back on taking over the Train? SELL OUT!!!! For the record if Chris did not tie up his dogs legs and give you a head start you would have been beat. You should thank Chris for feeling sorry for you and letting you win. I did let Chris know that you called Thursday and was crying about getting beat the last couple of hunts and he felt sorry for you! lol
Andy and Keenan thanks for the kind words. Even though we found out Stetler is your son we still enjoy you guys around. Few more minutes and Rex would have won the champs but good to see Rex let his mom have the win this time.
We said going into this hunt if we get a good turn out we would try to do another one some time. We had a good enough turn out to give another one a shot. With SMBC and Homer we might make this thing go. These hunts sure can be fun if everyone gives them a chance.
Last Wakins and Chris did you notice that we are about the oldest judges and we did more judging then Leach, Kyle, and Joe put together. Thanks for holding Evan hand in the open finals and I did the same for Kyle in the champions. I had everything cover in the champs while Kyle ran around on the paths! lol
Guy Russell congrats on your win. I told you we are not that bad of a bunch in Homer we try our best to put on a great hunt just like your club and all other beagle clubs. Give me a call sometime and we can try to set up a meeting to go over more things.
Thanks again everyone! We all had a great time!
Nate, all I can do is laugh at that one buddy. I got nothing. LOL

Thanks again for all your help. Glad you made it up to help it was great having you around. Next time let me know when your kids are coming(not talking about Chris) and I will get my boy's down there too. Plus you need to bring your dad up as well.
Maybe your club, Guy Russell, Kevin, and the real Indiana Train club should pass around everyone PP hunts for this year so we don't have hunts on the same weekends.
I am going to talk more to Guy about the NHBA and we talked about doing a two day hunt one at his place and one at Homer to try and get more people up to the hunts to get this going.
One more person who really helped get this going was Dave McVay. Thanks Dave for coming up last year and helping get this going in Homer.
Glad the hunt was last weekend and not the one coming up. They are calling for 12-20"of snow this week around here so our running will be tougher for sure.
Your welcome Nate. Glad you had a good turnout. This really is a great club with great people. Was thinking of coming until the flu bug hit. Let me know when your next one is.
ok nate just because me and brian own belle together,i have my own dogs also to run.and brian does not tell me what to do and we both have our own kennels.see you at the wolverine classic.
Nate, why do you have to pick on Eugene for? He gets picked on enough the way it is. LOL I think a two day hunt between Guy's club and your club is a great idea by the way. I know there are a few of us that will go to Guy's club in the near future. We look forward to going there
