actullay we have it narrowed down to three names, Ugly Camo or Bullet lol

i might give him an "in memory of" name of a dog that i used to hunt and show (unforunatly she was a female) but i really just have not decided.... i really like Ugly and Camo

the first hound that i ever showed/hunted or handled period was named Key's Outlaw Rising Sun sooooo.... maybe Phoenix Outlaw Rising Sun

or maybe Outlaw Blue Camo Moon because i LOVE the Key's Outlaw Red Moon breeding and i know the people that bred traind and raised him... trying to come up withe something that will stick in your mind, flashy usually does that but so does crazy lol

outlaw's phoenix rising is a really cool name, very flashy and has a ring to it. people will turn their heads just for the name itself.

Come on now lets not name him after Redbones. LOL Let him be different (as they are). I've got a Lep to but she's red with a little white on her chest and some white toes. Actually makes a good looking Redbone and most that don't know what she is think she's a redbone when they see her with me.(grin) I just couldn't help it when I saw her as a pup at the GA last spring and she's making a decent dog for the amount of hunting she's had. That " I don't know you" attitude has held her back on the bench a little but she still has 2 wins toward grand. Good luck with yours.

thanks Dale, and i want to name him after my "top hounds" so that maybe he'll take after them lol i'm leaning twards Fire and Ice and call him Ashes (but that may just be too close to Ashley.... considering i call her Ash when she's good) so maybe i'll call him Ice i REALLY like Phoenix rising but cant come up with a good name for him, i dont like callin him Nick cuz that's a person's name lol (not to mention my ex's name) haha so i think it will be Camo or Ice...

i'd call him ash but my first hound's name is Ashley (still alive 8 1/2 years old) i love my baby girl, she has made me very happy over the years, she's a great pup trainer (accurate as all get out) great swim dog and i NEVER need a tracking collar for her, let her go she will tree a coon or come back and give you a look that says "there isnt anything out there, lets go home and lay on the bed!" lol

it sure does suck when you lose your favorite ones, happens to me all the time! I get nervous cutting my brodie loose but i just couldn't stand to never listen to his voice again! plus he's outside and bored so he has to have something to do! lol

I'd like to hunt with her, never been in the woods with the outlaw bred stuff kinda wondering how they hunted! Maybe I'll have wrangler crankin' and you can hunt with him too! Good luck with the lepoard pup, I was lookin' at one but got skitzo instead lol

i actually went with Miller's Silver Camo cuz his "blue" looks kinda silverie and he blends in with Cory's camo pants, almost lost him this AM cuz he was curled up on them.... i will show you a pics of him at home as soon as photbucket stops being slow
