It looks as if you've got quite program going down there Danny. I'm glad you've had success and like your dogs so well.

Getting pups in the hands of folks like you is hard to do. I've got a litter here off of ole X that is as sharp as I've ever had...I think they're gonna be dandies.

send one south. w will hunt the brakes off of him. ol tack ( off of X) treed 3 singles last night behind the other dogs. he is so loud that its hard not to pull into him . he has a locate that will make your eyes roll back in your head lol. one dog backed him on one and the other dog was standing on his head. i dont brag much but he is turning out to be a top coon dog. he was doing good atg a yr old, then he went in a slump round 2 1/2. layed him up most of the summer and worked a dog i have out of him. but it like he is a new and different dog. he is really turning it on. seen 11 coons in the last 4 nights and we in thin coon. my dogs off rat are doing well, fixing to turn 5. squirrel hunt them mainly.

I would if I had a few more. Reading your description of Tack tickles me because it sounds so much like his daddy. X had a similar funk at the same age where he was lazy here and there but came out of it.

I know what you mean on the loudness...when X was in his prime he would literally hurt my ears when I got in close to leash him at a tree. He'll be nine this January but is healthy as a horse.

thats good to hear about X. I am well pleased with all the dogs i have gotten from you guys. I have one swamp rat female that is a top squirrel dog and a male from swamp rat that had some health problem and has slowed him down. So tack and my female are my 2 main dogs now. Working a young dog out of tack and grace female ( all are from the amazing cur line). line breeding now but i am looking for a top cur to cross back into before i go to a hound.

You're obviously serious about putting together a breeding program so I'll share this piece of advice. The half brother half sister cross is really what established our line and got us off the ground. It laid the foundation for what we're doing now...produced dogs like Shamrock and X's mother Sue-Zee.

It's the best way to start a breeding program in my mind.

thanks alex. i can do that. i have a half brother from another female that we bred tack to last year. he is a super nice young dog. he is out of a thunder sport female and tack was the sire. now my wheelsare turning.

Good to hear Alex and Daddy talking about the Amazing Curs. I love mine to (Amazing Swamp Bones). Lowcountry my son in law got a pair from Danny's last cross. We are very excited about starting the pups and they are very smart. The female has a real mouth already. Thanks to Alex, Mr Kovac and Amy for there hard work and dedication to continue to fine tune thru selective breeding the Amazing Curs. Also thanks to Danny for selecting, hunting and breed the Amazing Curs. I will continue to hunt and breed(when Lowcountries female makes it) the Amazing Curs because I Strongly believe they are the dog of the future. One reason is because of our hunting spots are getting smaller and the Amazing Curs have the smarts and handle on them. May GOD bless us all. I love my Walker to!
