Wish they would do a play off system but it wouldnt be fair to the other conferances for the SEC to have TWO teams playing for the title. JMO

Boise St. ? Don't forget, they barely got by Virginia Tech. And in case you forgot Tech got beat by James Madison. There are 4 teams in the SEC that would beat any one else in the country. Bama, S.C., LSU, and Arkansas. Someone said Florida is terrible, I wouldn't say that, I hate Florida but they'd be undefeated in the Big Ten or the PAC 10 right now. OSU has NEVER beat an SEC team in a Bowl game. A one loss SEC team will make every time over Boise St. or TCU. Bama and Oregon National Championship. It should be two SEC teams playing in the National Championship.
Whats Ohio State got to do with never beating a SEC team? If I`m not mistaken, they did win a national championship this century. Got smoked by Florida, and had a pretty good game in a rebuilding year, on the road,
game against LSU. From what I read last year about the Rose Bowl, the Bucks shouldn`t have even showed up, from what the experts were saying! Oregon was way too fast, but thankfully they played the game on
the field, and we kicked their hind ends all the way back to Eugene!
Pryor is 2 years out of High School, where all he did was run the ball. He`s trying to become somewhat of a drop back passer, so he still learning. He didn`t run the ball one time against Indiana, and passed for
over 330 yards.
If I`m not mistaken, the Big 10 had a winning record against the SEC in
the bowl games last year. So please, don`t let your opinions get in the way of the facts!
Buckeyes don`t play Nebraska this year, but we get em next year @ their place, so we will see. They are really good. Their coach is from Ohio, along with a bunch of other high profile college coaches, so I know they will be well coached!
put the big 10, big 12 or pac 10 in the sec and most of them will be on the same level with tennessee and georgia. they dont play smashmouth football like the sec. thats why the sec has won so many championships. 6 since 98 i believe and i dont think the sec has lost but a few when playing for the championship

dbpro I respect you're love for Ohio State. Indiana was not only bad they were pathetic. Any half way decent QB can throw for 300 yards when they have 4 or 5 seconds to make up there mind. Apply a little pressure and Pryor is useless. They have no running game. There defense is what will carry them NOT Pryor. Like I said he will just be another Troy Smith with the big boys. I hate watching him pass. He makes you hold you're breath every time he drops back. You want to watch a real QB watch Moore or Dalton from TCU. The PAC 10 is weak along with the BIG 12 so it won't supprise me to see a team from each confrence go un beaten. TCU's confrence is better then either! Look at what they did in last years bowl games. They slaughtered the competition but yet no one will give them there deserved credit.
Oaklahoma keeps hanging on in close wins, there luck is about to run out.
vsUtah State W31-24
vsAir Force W27-24
@Cincinnati W31-29
vs#21 Texas* W28-20
3 of these games were AT HOME. They would have lost on the road that's a near guarantee. So one of the best Big 12 teams pulls a win out of there rear at home against 2 teams from a non BCS confrence.
LSU, THEY ARE A DECENT TEAM BUT RECIEVED A GIFT WHEN THEY PLAYED WEST VIRGINIA. IF WVU WOUL NOT HAVE MESSED UP THEY WOULD HAVE WON AND ANY TRUE FAN KNOWS IT.
AS FOR BOSIE BEING IN BCS TITLE GAME, NO WAY THEY DO NOT AND WILL NOT LET THEM IN.
ALABAMA STILL IS THE BEST AND DESERVES TO BE THERE.

LSU barely beat NC and they had 13 starters on the bench. Then they barely beat Tenn who is just a bad team and would have beaten them if they could count. Auburn is a one man show and so is Ohio State both who will be return men or wide recievers in the pros not QB's. Boise has got to get its due. They have built a solid program and all they can do is beat everyone they play. So if they go undefeated and oregon goes then they should be in the title game. The SEC is awesome but its like the ACC in basketball they beat each other up!

BUT IT WILL NOT BE. COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS NOT FAIR AND NEVER WILL BE. CAN BOISE BEAT THE BIG TEAMS AND CONFERNCES. WELL THE NCAA CAN ANSWER THAT LET THEM PLAY IN THE BIG ONE AGAINST A QUALITY TEAM FROM ONE OF THE BIG MONEY CONFERNCES.

The only decent team Ohio State has played is Miami Florida and Miami did not look good that night. If you think Pryor is good you need to take the blinders off. He's a 3rd string QB in the NFL and they know what a good QB looks like. LSU and Auburn are both going to loose at least 2 games you can bet on that. Auburn is about to get pounded by Arkansas this week. This is the first year Boise State is getting there deserved recognition. They will play an un beaten Nevada team and pound them and the higher powers will have a reason to put them in the title game. If TCU ends up playing Boise State again i'm going to be very disappointed.

If I`m not mistaken, this was a thread about college football. I hate to break the news, but a whole bunch of college stud qbs haven`t lived up to
the hype, once they got into nfl. The only person to stop Pryor is Coach
Tressel. If Pryor is allowed to go from the shotgun, he is almost unstopable. He was the no. 1 recruit out of high school, so someone must
have seen some talent! Maybe next time the Bucks sign a big time recruit,
they should contact HOUND-HUNTER 101 before they sign him! Oh, by the way, WHO HAS STOPPED PRYOR?
I know a little about football, and I don`t look at OSU through rose-colored glasses. They are a good football team, not a great one, yet!
Their running backs are not very good, and some of the play calling is some of the worst in football. That`s called Tressel ball!
DO NOT COUNT OUT WEST VIRGINIA. TO BE A CONTENDER, THAY CAN NOT GO UNDEFEATED BUT WHO REMAINS THAT CAN BEAT THEM.
GAMES REMAINING.
OCT 14, USF ( SOUTH FLORIDA )
OCT 23, SYRACUSE
OCT 29, U CONN
NOV 13, CINCINNATI
NOV 20, LOUISVILLE
NOV 26, PITT ( ALWAYS A GOOD ONE ) BACK YARD BRAWL
DEC 4, RUTGERS
ONLY LOSS WAS LSU AND THEY GAVE IT AWAY.
DEFEATED COASTAL CAROLINA, MARSHALL, MARYLAND, UNLV.
I ADMIT NOT THE TOUGHEST SCHEDULE BUT WATCH OUT FOR THEM. AND RECENT BOWL HISTORY SPEAKS FOR ITS SELF.

The only "real team" ohio state has played is Miami and we all know there far from great especially away from home. Here's Pryors numbers against the only decent team they've played.
9/11 Miami (FL) he only completed 44% of his passes. Great huh?
I'm glad you think he's good but he will not ever win a championship.
College football is supposed to be fun to watch right? Ohio State is far from fun to watch. Get a small lead and pound out the clock. If Tressell had faith in Pryor he would give him some freedom but it's been very obvious over the last couple of years he doesn't. Like I sail watch Moore from Boise State and Dalton from TCU there's a real QB.
What kind of proof do some of you people have that the "powers that
be" or all the people who hate the SEC will somehow keep Boise St., TCU,
or Alabama out of the National Championship game? They have a formula
they go by and all the conferences are aware of them. Albeit, BCS sucks
and they need a playoff system, and then, we can see who has all the bragging rights!

I certainly agree, watching the OSU offense is painful at times. My wife thinks I`m nuts when watching them in a tough game. Tressel seems to
get so puckered up he can hardly move, but he still wins, and his players
really like him. I sound like a Monday morning qb. I guess that`s why he`s going over game film and preparing his team for Wisconsin, and I`m
sitting here complaining about his play calling! Wiskey is gonna be a tough
game, and I wouldn`t be surprised to see them get beat. I went to the Wisconsin game last year, and their offense was terrible, but the D was great! I get the same feeling watching the offense, as I do when my dog split trees, sometimes happy, sometimes p.o.`d.

2 SEC teams playing for the title year in and year out would have alot screaming to go back to the twisted way it is now. JMO

with 1 loss on the tide dont mean anything. there has been two loss teams playing in the bcs title game
no matter what the SECwill bring home another BCS title
lsu auburn and alabama aint out of it yet. boise st schedule aint tough enough ohio st may make it and oregon looks good.
my money will be on the tide making it and winning it.
the SEC is the strongest confrence out there and the only reason they wouldnt make the bcs title game is cause they beat each other in confrence play.
Never said the dogs would play for the title. Put Ohio St., Oregon, Boise, USC, Nebraska, Oklahoma etc playing SEC teams and the SEC will come out on top more times than not. The SECs problem is that they beat each other up. When Boise did come to GA what was the score?

Boise in no way should even sniff a chance at a National Title.
That would be like crowining a dog that beat one world qualifier in one hunt during the year at a local hunt with 10 dogs as the World Champ.
Boise doesn't play anybody.
Any team can get up to play 1 or 2 real games a year. That means they don't have to worry about depth, injuries etc.
Playing 1 or 2 real games a year with 10 scrimmage games is much different than playing week in and week out in a tough conference. Much, much different.
Just because they beat the teams on their schedule doesn't mean they earn a right to slip in the back door to a National Championship game. There's probably at least 20 teams or more that could go undefeated with their schedule, even some that are considered "bad" football teams that play in a real conference.
