coon would only get burned if he came into contact with another wire.if he was on one wire he would not get burnt.it like when birds light on wires they dont get hit unless they touch another wire.

IF A RED DOG WAS TREED-PLUS IT, OTHER WISE MINUS (just kiddin) ha

Blueticking It

I said majority of cast didn't see it go from pole dogs were treed on down the wire to the pole coon was found in. Meant crossing out on wires to the other pole. Never said coming down pole. If it had came down pole it would have to gotten to the other pole by ground which dang sure would be minused.

Everybody takes their minus on this computer but the cry baby comes out in the woods

The "1 tree" rule should apply to this situation...though it doesn't specify power poles, the INTENT of the rule does apply. Of course, you have to be careful applying INTENT to rules...some can abuse that.

If you believe the coon went up that pole and travelled down the line to the next one (which is very possibly what happened), then plus 'em. If you think they treed a tap, minus 'em. It's not likely that the coon was tapping poles looking for one to go up. In the end, it would require a vote of the cast which SHOULD be decided based on your application of the intent of the rule...but very likely would be decided based on whose dog had first tree, was in the lead, etc.

One tree means the branches of one tree are touching the branches of another tree. So if one pole was laying over and touching the other I'd buy it, but not two separate poles, and calling them connected by the wires. The coon tapped the pole the dogs were on, and went to the next pole. It's simple, you can't plus dogs in the woods for falling short?!?!?!
