I agree and I think about this all the time. I think the #1 reason is that being responsible for what you breed is a huge part of being a breeder that most people ignore. If you want to be a breeder of dogs and take a chance at glory, be sure you are ready to deal with the ugly side. You have an equal chance at getting both.

The majority of what I saw at the Gr were mongrels people were trying to pawn of as squirel dogs etc.etc. They even had bird dogs and labs, but I didn't see any look sick. Just sicknin. But that's their business. Also saw some nice well bred litters.

they are sitting there because someone didn't want to cull the culls. most people don't.
