Things to Keep

The three things that he mentioned are a must especially if you hunt around lakes and ponds and such. One thing that no one really realizes is the first thing that goes to swelling on a rattler bite is their throat! If you have some cold water just drown him with it, if not cold any water will do. It gives you just enough some times to make it to the vet.

I dont really know why it works its crazy but it does. You can save your bacon greese in jar an keep it in the fridge an when your dog gets bit u can heat it up an let it melt an let them lick the bowl dry or put it on some food. If they are really down an you are in a hurry take it straight outta the fridge an shuve it down their throat. I dont know what makes it work but it does I promise we been using it for a long time now an not lost a dog yet by big cotton mouths or rattle snakes. We usally shoot the dog up with B-12, give em bacon greese, an a shot of penicillon. I have seen it work with a rattle snake bit right below the eye and on side of the jaw snake was a five footer.
