So for each breed we need how many different forums? One for stud dogs, one for pups and dogs for sale and one for general discussion? So we need 14 additional forums? Really? Cause it seems like there are a lot of forums to maintain as it is. lol

The other KC has one that say breed X (News, Questions, Info) where all the studs are at and one that says breed X (For Sale) where the dog are that are for sale are at. I just think we need 7 then you wouldn't have as many post to look at everyday cause there would be alot less BTT post to check everyday.

No Todd, i think most of us would be fine with JUST a stud dog forum. Get rid of alot of clutter on other pages and open it up more for discussion..ect

What if we make a stud dog section for Performance Sires where, by fillling out a template, you can post your dog's pedigree, picture, short description and contact information? I suggested that a long time ago. I think it's still in the works though.

If it was coordinated with the Performance Sire listing, and by that I mean you simply indicate in the margin of the listing which dogs have profiles, it would put pressure on all performance sire owners to do a profile on their dog. And how many performance sires do we have?........1,700 or 1,800 ? That would be an awesome stud dog resource.

Great, then you would only have 1,800 posts to look through. Keep it like it is! If you don't want to look at them then don't look at them. How simple is that?

The people that have their stud dogs listed on there and bring them back to the top 5 times a day AREN'T BREEDING ANY FEMALES. If they were, they wouldn't have to beg people to breed. There's one fellow on the PKC board that started out with a small stud fee, then a FREE stud fee, then he wanted to lease females to breed (wanting to pay you to breed since nobody would breed to him), and now he's gone back to a small stud fee. He also brings it back to the top several times a day and is also about the only one writing on his ad. I rarely ever look at the UKC Classifieds for that reason.
When I click on a post and see "btt" it makes me want to puke.

Did you say this is in the works? It sounds great - would make it easy to view the sires and easy for the sire owners to advertise thier dog...

ASK BUCKSHOT HOW THEM STUD FORUMS WORK OUT. YOU WILL HAVE THE SAME POSTS IN THE STUD SECTION AS THE CLASSIFIEDS BECAUSE THEY WILL PUT THEM IN BOTH.

Hey I've also got our webmaster checking on an upgrade that only allows one BTT every 24 hrs. I didn't even know something like that was available. I think that is a great idea. I get sick of BTT's also.

English Classified (only dogs & pups forsale)

This would be great and cut the amount of time I spend shuffling through all the crap.

This sound great Todd, but I don't think that would keep all the studs out of the Classifieds Board. The BTT Limter sounds great, but that won't stop or slow down all the stud dog B rolled over today post.

Good idea stud dog forum. Break it up in breeds also. I do not want to look at all the other studs in other breeds to locate the ones i want to see.

MAYBE LINKS TO EACH BREED THREAD. WHEN YOU CLICK ON BLUETICK, YOU COULD HAVE CLASSIFIEDS, STUDS, CHARTER CLUB AND BREED EVENT INFO, ETC. DO THIS WITH ALL BREEDS, SO IT COULD ALL STILL BE EASY FOR US TO LOCATE. I KNOW THE PLOTT AND REDBONE BREEDERS DO NOT WANT TO SORT THROUGH WALKERS AND BLACK N TANS, NOR DO I.
