LOL..

... this is all great! Same in the horse world... use to LOVE to go horse shopping with clients and... see what the horse actually WAS like... Never got "taken" in the horse world my self...but had students taken if they went shopping without me. Sadly one of the "mistakes" was fatal when a horse came in here after "passing the vet" who is NO longer welcome HERE!....all the other horses but one died... I imagine health issues are just as common with dogs... LUCKY that performance issues with dogs are not life threatening like they can be with horses... HATE to hear of someone buying a horse that ends up dangerous to them!

FUN STUFF. HERE... I tend to be WAY to honest so if I wrote an add I'm SURE people would think I was even more insane than they already think... LOL...

Keep Laughing... When you can! Happyhunting Heather

Do a little homework and you can save yourself a lot of heartache down the road. I always do a search of past post on the person selling something. It is amazing what you find out.

Just saw one where a guy was selling a "jam up female because he doesn't hunt females. Otherwise she would not be for sale." At the same time he is on another post trying to buy a female off of someone else. That ought to tell you something.

Saw another one where a guy was selling a young hound of a certain bloodline because he didn't have time to hunt it. As soon as he sells it, he is on here looking for another dog of the same bloodline. Do you think somebody just got ripped off?

I always make a mental note of the names for future reference. LOL

#2. now this might be most important, when you go to sell the dog, dont actually put it up for sale.
this might have you some fo you confused. the key is to start bragging the dog up about how good it is coming along in training. with each post sell us on how greatly it is progressing and how special the pup is.

3. next have some buddies come on and brag the dog up. have them post how yourpup put it on the old grand nite last night and even split treed with the meat while the other dogs were treed slick. have them make up a couple of screen names and you do the same so the hype just gets bigger and bigger.

4.pictures. you must have some pictures. doesnt matter where you take them, just as long as it is at night and the dog is barking up a tree. heck, do with a caged coon in the front yard if need be.

5. next, state the dog is not for sale

6. now state after recieving numerous inquries about buying this dog through the pm system, you have decided that the dog isnt for sale but can be bought.

7. slap an outragous overpriced tag on the dog and wait for the offers to roll in.

just a little light hearted fun

Light hearted fun but true to a degree. I was once trying to sell a fairly decent bred pup and a high profile breeder called me and said the reason you're not selling it is because you're asking way too little for it and it's scaring people away. They think its worthless. Jack the price up a few hundred dollars and it will go in no time. Of course i didn't take his advice and eventually sold the dog as lightly started and she ended up turning into a pretty decent dog. Sad but true.

Rance56 ,
If you dont like what you see or hear then move on and stop your whining . Time for you to grow up or change hobies

The problem is you dont know NOTHING about training puppies so you try to put the breeders down but you stay on the computer all the time and THAT'S WHY YOUR'S DON'T MAKE IT !

Get in the woods !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you would start taking care of business on the home front with your old lady, maybe my nights might free up a little to do some coon hunting.

old henry, now why would you sell a puppy and give a guarantee to a fella you said knows nothing about training puppies?

them 2 boys of yours eating you out of house and home so bad you were hard up for money?
