looks like they want one person to do the job of 3 people..
hope the person that gets the job is bald cause by the mag due date they would be pulling their hair out by the roots trying to answer the phone /take ads./sub's/ and design ads all at the same time,,the person would have to be a combo of superman/spiderman/and the flash and have a good supply of nerve pills ,lol..

I AGREE. They are raising their prices on registration fees, why not at least keep the same quality in the mag! I kinda find it hard to believe that with all but one of the coonhound breeds being in the TOP 10 registered dogs with UKC, that they are hurting for money...but thats just my opinion...

IF WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY $400 FOR A FULL PAGE COLOR AD, I EXPECT THE HIGHEST QUALITY AVAILABLE.

IF THEY CUT THE QUALITY, HOW COME THEY DONT CUT THE PRICES AS WELL.

IF I WANTED MY STUD AD PRINTED ON NEWSPAPER I'D SAVE MYSELF $325 AND JUST RUN AN AD FOR A MONTH IN THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER.

THE PAGES TEAR EXTREMELY EASY AND WHERE AS IT USED TO BE EASY TO TAKE THE ADS OUT NOW I HAVE TO USE AN EXACTO KNIFE AND CUT THE PAGES.

AND THE BAD THING IS, WHEN THEY CHANGE STUFF LIKE THIS WE NEVER EVEN GET A WARNING.

LIKE WHEN THEY SWITCHED FROM THE FOIL PAPERS TO THE REGULAR PAPERS, NO WARNING.

SAME THING WITH THIS.

I JUST THINK IT'S BAD THAT UKC'S PRICES ARE GOING UP, AND THEIR ALL AROUND QUALITY IS GOING DOWN.

LOOK AT THE COMPLAINTS IN THE REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT, I MEAN, SERIOUSLY.

I LOVE UKC, AND WE WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THEM, BUT IT'S HARD TO SUPPORT WHEN WE EXPECT ONE THING AND GET ANOTHER.

My vote would be to save money on paper and anything else they can cut corners on. Then hire more help for the office so they can get the Adviser out and the papers out quicker. I don't think the paper quality matters to most people that aren't buying the expensive add's. Those people are going to advertise no matter what becouse it pays them to do so.
