pride pro

orange or green bag hard to beat fof the price. It is good feed. 28 bucks is a lttle higher than what it is going for around here and that is not thru the dist.

the 28 / 18 dark green bag is good feed as well. Never fed the black, but alot of folks love it.

I have always went for the high end pride and never had any ill effects on it in performance or stool. It is the BEST feed for the price bar none.

I feed it off and on all yr long and have compaired it to various different Purina feeds from Dog Chow to Pruina Performance......Performance is hard to beat, but at 44 bucks for 35 lbs it should be, most Pride feeds are under 25 will not risk my dogs health on any Diamond feed, thats just me,....seen several dogs die off it several yrs back and guess what, heard aobut the same thing this past yr.

I will stick to Purina or Pride.

Bought one bag and fed one serving and gave the rest away dogs wouldn't touch it heard it was good feed though

Pro-Series 26-20 (orange bag), buying a pallet at the time, is $26 per bag. No complaints from me on the Pro-Series.

PRIDEDOG FOOD

BOBBY I AGREE WITH YOU GOOD FEED NOT TREEING ANY MORE COON LOL

Posted by duke7581 on 03-04-2013 11:41 PM:

Might not tree any more coon but a good food will help dog be there after a all day race on a running 80lb bear day after day. I think a good food I key for endurance and recovery rate more important if only run ign 1-2 day a week most feed will do but if running hard 4-6 days a week I think on day 3 and past is when u notice the advantages of higher end foods. Just my 2 cents

Y'all talking Sportsman's Pride or The Pride?

Posted by duke7581 on 03-05-2013 12:05 AM:

Pride

Posted by VaBirdDog on 03-05-2013 02:33 AM:

Bunch of guys around here still feeding it. If you get it at the local distributor it's 24.75 for the orange 26/20 go to any of the dealers and it's 28.75 and up now.

Posted by Bobby Stevens on 03-05-2013 04:15 AM:

heard some older guys say one time that the best feed you can buy is a good wormer
i'm not promoting any type feed but some people like to fault feeds when its really not the feed at all its what your feeding it to
i willnot tell any man that a feed is junk nor will i stoop to calling him names for feeding what he wants at least if your feeding them less than a high grade feed your not starving them to death so i say this to all hound people feed what you like and good luck to you and your hounds and hope that all your hunts create great memories for you

The Pride

I feed the 21/17 in the pro and love it dogs do great and look great.

Posted by Bengie Bengala on 03-05-2013 01:32 PM:

I tried 2 yrs ago to buy the pro series 26-20 off of 2 places in north east Ohio. Both places carry pride dog food but neither carried the pro series 26-20. One place priced it at $33 a bag and the other place priced it at $35 a bag. This was the same yr I bought it for $21 a bag at the youth nationals in TN. Both places said it was because of freight. Kinda funny how it was gonna ride on the same truck with the other pride that was coming to their store. NO WAY will I pay $12-$14 more a bag for the same feed.

Has anyone switched from diamond high energy to pride pro series 26/20? Good bad ugly?

Posted by Josh Longmire on 03-05-2013 11:16 PM:

That's all I will feed anymore is the pro series. They don't have alot of stool compared to other dogfoods they use more of it than it just running threw them. But every dog is different might work for some and others don't do to well on it.

Posted by Blair4 on 03-05-2013 11:37 PM:

Pride

I switched from daimond High energy I think the Pride is alot better feed Daimond just isn't what it was 15 yrs.ago.

Posted by Jason Mullins on 03-06-2013 12:04 AM:

Both the orange pro series and green pro series and also the dark green 26/18 are all around 25-29.00 a bag around here

I feed the orange bag and love it, $22.50 a bag. I have fed the black 24-20 and did have alittle more clean up, if I remember it is 19.00 a bag. In the summer I will switch to the lime green bag, I think its 21-17, and is around $21 haven't bought any for awhile. I've tried about everything over the years and for the money you can't beat it.
