-- Looking For A Vet That Collects And Ships Semen (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=337450)

Iowa State in Ames Iowa does it. I know someone that has used them to have 3 different males collected for his personal use.
I was just down there last week for him to get a male collected. It really surprised me how easy and affordable it was to have done.
If I ever own a nice male, I wouldn't hesitate to have it done. Peace of mind knowing that if you're out hunting a nice male and it gets killed, you didn't lose that piece of the puzzle in your breeding program.
As far as shipping, and breeding the female, I have no idea what that costs. But to get the male collected and stored is cheaper than most stud fees.

Call Care Animal Hospital and ask for David Aul DVM. I would almost gaurantee he knows what needs to be done to ship semen over night and what not. And you won't meet a nicer guy than him.

THANKS TO ALL

FOR THE HELP. I HAVE TO TRY AND GET THIS DONE IN BETWEEN WORK. I'M WAITING ON AN ANSWER FROM A VET IN DUBUQUE AND ANOTHER POSSIBLE LEAD CLOSE BY. I'LL HOLLER BACK WITH HOW IT GOES AND IF I'M SUCCESSFUL IN THIS VENTURE. IT WOULD BE NICE TO GET SET UP WITH SOMEONE CLOSE BY FOR FUTURE USE, BUT WE'LL SEE. <V>
